    Damn that rug pull ! I was just considering the prefill tyre stuff. Is there any truth to the ruined tyre rumours or is it a bit of scare mongering. What's the stuff called, I will have a good shufti on Google.

    I have an old Nokia that I used in mine until the taxi squad said it was in the way of passengers. It might fit your cradle. Google the numbers on the cradle and find out which ones fit it and let me know and might be able to sort something out.

    Toyota dealer for me about £70. No brainer to use Toyota or Lexus as they fit correctly are the correct amp hours etc, oh yes they are cheaper too.

    Good luck for tomorrow. Well done on that quote I live in Warrington and they all gave me ridiculous quotes! Its irrelevant now as my Lexie is a taxi now and that insurance REALLY hurts!!

    HOLD ON PEOPLE!! Don't order yet as the set I received DON'T fit properly. I have emailed them, and they are looking into what the problem is and checking they have sent the correct ones. They responded to my email within an hour which is normally a good sign. I will keep you informed as to what's going on. Cheers Pete

    They arrived today but I haven't fitted them yet. I will fit them tomorrow and let you know how they go on. They seem to be typically German quality manufacture and have received good reviews. Will update when I can.

    About 55 each. For a mk3. Other models will no doubt differ.

    I got all four disks for about £150 from euro car parts and if I remember rightly the fronts were less than £100 for the pair. I will go and have a shufti and feed back.

    I got mine changed by Toyota. Cost about 70 and it replaced what looked like a very old battery of the same make.
