  1. I've got the K&N standard filter which seems to do it's job but I want a bit more - what's the best induction kit for the IS200 then? Thx!!!!
  2. Hope you get the problem sorted Scarface! Does anybody know if this kit will fit an IS200 as well and has anybody any instructions on fitting it as I'm going to get one for the bhp gain it gives! I've tried a search but it brings up everything and can't find anything specific! Cheers!
  3. That's why I posted the pics to show everybody!!
  4. Wrexham is famous again!!! I remember the speed vans on the A483 bypass with no pre-warning - right B******S! Anyway, haha to them I bet Clarkson has something to say about his old mate Richard Brunstrom !
  5. Sorry to hear that parthiban - might be worth a visit back to the garage you bought them from? Especially if you paid more as the Lexus ones are £5-£10 more expensive. To help answer other questions, my IS had Bridgestone Potenza's on from new and I swapped them to Dunlop's based on the recommendations (and price) from LOC.
  6. Perhaps I am wrong then Scorps, Thought the IS came out on a T plate! You learn something new everyday - that makes the current IS shape well old then!
  7. Hi Hammers, It will be interesting to see what you think of the IS compared to the Focus St - in terms of performance & spec etc! Enjoy the car mate!
  8. Am I right in saying that's a Tezza? It's on a S plate?
  9. Thanks guys, Well the warranty run out at 60k (3 years old in May) so I don't think there's anything else under the bonnet that's covered for 5 years!
  10. Here's the pic with the lexus type on the left and the standard on the right I hope you can view it!
  11. Hi All, My 60k service is due and I'm currently on 60700 and will probably hit 61k next week. I can't book it in until the end of the month as I'm busy with work etc. Is this risky going over by 1k or will it be ok? The warranty has run out so there aren't any problems on that side anyway. Any advice much appreciated!
  12. They do look slightly different tbh, and they seem to stick to the road better. I'll try and post some pics later!
  13. Got 2 Lexus SP9000's fitted today and they have a larger lip rim protector than the standard SP9000's. If anybody else is after them I purchased them from johnsons tyres in Wrexham @ £108 each.
  14. I had potenza's on mine when it was new & they only lasted 17k! That's why I swapped to SP9000's as well. I'll get the tracking checked whilst I'm there tomorrow.
  15. And about time! Looks good though!
  16. Thanks guys. Well I'm gonna try these on the front and see what happens. Will let you know in a couple of months when they're ready to be changed again !!!!!!AAHHH!!!
  17. Ordered 2 SP9000 Lexus type tyres for my IS200 @ £109 each incl. fitting. Anybody had any experience on the Lexus type as I've been running standard sp9000's. The garage advised me to get these as they're harder wearing and less prone to feathering. Cheers!
  18. Cheers Scorps...good job they were only a fiver!
  19. Just bought some sidelights off ebay, hoping they would be white & not yellow so they would match my PIAA bulbs and they were only £5 on ebay. Fitted them today and they are very blue, not ice blue but blue blue (!) Are they illegal - if not are they good to have or will it make me look like a boyracer?
  20. They're the same as from Xenondepot Uk based in Canada, I bought some of these - they are ok but no better than the oem bulbs in my opinion. I was fed up with the naff visibility they gave and went out and bought PIAA bulbs for ... ahem... £85 a pair, upgraded my main beams as well and these bulbs are the dogs doobries but expensive!
  21. Has anybody seen this go on ebay today http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 Just over £8k for a 51 plate IS200 with 15k miles!!!! What is happening!
  22. I wouldn't complain - i took an rx8 out for a drive the other week and their front washers trickle out a stream of water on the screen and it really really works - much better then the 3 nozzles on the lex!
  23. Hey TheDon - could be side line for you mate - mobile lexus servicing!??! Still haven't had the bottle to do my plugs btw!
  24. Complete and utter rip off mate - if I was you I would shop around and even drive somewhere (even far) and you will save money. The 40k service was the major one and 50k is a minor, you don't need your cambelt doing until 100k. I paid £252 for my 40k & £136 for my 50k service & even together it's still cheaper than your quote - this was at Lexus Stockport (with gold discount) so if I was use I would even drive to stockport and sacrifice a tank of petrol and your still quids in - good luck! Think I deserve a beer for giving you that information my friend!
