I wouldn't personally say it's a bargain for £1200, no way -
It is a nice car, but £1200 in my opinion is abit too much for a car that's got over 300000 miles on it, no matter how much service history it has or how mint it is.

If its the is220d then I remember reading somewhere that they have head gasket issues too and so Lexus have now stopped making diesels

But having said that 13-14 seems abit too low. I get 19-22 mpg

It came as standard in mine. Then again lexus dealers have told me mine is a limited edition, maybe that's why it's standard in mine

I thought all mk3 gs300 come with an aux cable in the centre console. Mine does and it has a built iphone charger

Your right i shouldn't be comparing it with the gs300, but my advice to anyone thinking of buying a ct200, don't buy one if your looking for a quiet smooth ride, because you won't get it with a ct.

Well my gs300 has gone into lexus today to have a new bonnet fitted under the 12 year corrosion warranty, they have given me a ct hybrid as a courtesy car and i have to say i can't wait to get into my gs300 again. I thought the is200 was the worst car Lexus made, but ct hybrid takes the biscuit, I can't believe the amount of road noise, I have to turn the volume up of the cd player in order the shut the noise out, it's terrible, and I can't feel every single bump. What were lexus thinking when making such a car, thank god I've only got it for 3 days, I can't wait to give it back.

You should never keep a car on reserve for a long time because it does cause issues that you have mentioned, and when filling the car you should always use good fuel ie shell v power, it's good for the engine and keeps it clean

Thanks for that. Lexus are going to put a brand new bonnet on my gs300 next week due a tiny bit of rust coming through, my car has 2 or 3minor marks and thought I could get that done too, but it seems I can't then

Hi I wonder if anyone can help. I just wanted to know if the lexus 12 year paint warranty is just for rust or can it be used for anything as in scratches etc? Thanks

That's been on sale many times and on other auction sites, I emailed this person a few times, but he never responds. I've seen that car for sale on and off for about a year now

If your going to get an indy to do it, make sure you ask to see the old parts he takes of your car at the end.

Lexus dealers do the job in 4 hrs, even my brother in about 4 hrs too. I've never known it to be longer than 4 hrs

Lexus dealers birmingham do it for a fixed price of £295 with a little extra for water pump. Plus if it isn't toyota own brand coolant, I wouldn't use it.

I wonder who will be doing the cambelt change? Obviously lexus wont do it because it's lpg converted. I mean he is a trader so he will be getting an independent to do the cambelt change, so my question would be, is he going to be using genuine lexus parts and if so ask to see the receipt for it, and also this car has been for sale on gumtree for sometime, I wonder why it hasn't sold yet?

I do about 4-5 miles a day. But like I say I don't use cheap rubbish supermarket fuel, I use the shell v power, which is very good for a car.Sorry I was meant to say I get 22 mpg local driving but I did get 41 mpg driving down to London.

I've just got mk3 gs300, had it since October. It has the direct injection engine and i always use the v power shell fuel and i can't complain about the fuel economy. I do short journeys mostly and i get around 26 mpg local, I took it to London 2 weeks ago and I managed to get 41 mpg, but then again I don't have a heavy foot either.
