I just bought some from eBay yesterday, oem for my ls400 and like new condition for £10, I got lucky there, no one else put a bid in for them

Lexus won't touch the car if it's on LPG, apparently the engineers are not insured to work on a car with LPG

Last time I had that red light on was on a 1999 ls400 and there was something wrong with the car, the satnav kept flickering and battery light would come on aswell, out of no where it came on saying check vsc, so my brother put his computer on it and turned out the alternator was bad, but he told me that even before he put the computer onto it, a new alternator sorted that problem out

I don't know, I never get the that red light even if fuel is too low

Why is that red light on next where it says average? Mine only comes on if I've left the sunroof open and Ive switched my car off just to warn me, or i a door is open etc

On LPG, but I was getting the same on petrol, maybe there's something wrong with the computer

I had a 2001 ls430 that had parking sensors on the front and rear, there was a switch next to the steering wheel to switch them on and off

I pay 59p for LPG down where I live , in the summer it's 59p and winter it goes up to 68p

I get 25-26 mpg local driving in my ls400, and motorway I get 35-38mpg, I've hit 41mpg once on the motorway, but that's me driving at 70mph

I've got a new ML CD player for when I had 2 ls430's, I knew these cars had issues with the audio systems, but before I could replace it I sold the cars, I had enough of troubles you get with the ls430, I might buy another one though as I have a good job now and can afford to fix anything that goes wrong with the ls430, as I did like the drive on it. So I still have the new CD player sitting in my cupboard, but my point is this, Lexus claim their audio systems are the best etc, but I prefer the system in the ls400, I think it sounds better, also, I have a corrado vr6 since 1995 and have a denon system in it, I play copy cd's in it, and to this day no faults on it, where as the is200 and the la430's are newer and if you play copy cd's in it you get error codes, how rubbish is that

Certainly is, there is another one to come though, the CD player will stop working, the actual mechanism breaks so the cd's won't play and wont eject

That's odd, my sister bought a Honda crv a month ago from Honda dealers that came in as a px, it's a 2004 model, 3 weeks in the clutch and turbo went, Honda replaced it free of charge, and it isn't a clutch wear and tear item?

I think you need to lower the car abit to suit the wheels, at the moment it looks high up

This car is on eBay and doesn't mention any faults with the car. Again it's in birmingham, I'm from birmingham and sellers like this might make it hard for me to sell my car as they are not being honest

I've actually sat in one at Birmingham Lexus dealers, and it was a really lovely car, i will never be able to afford to buy one, unless i win the lottery, I'll buy one then, and as a little run around I'd buy the LFA

I remember one ad on eBay where a gentleman was recently selling an ls400, lexuschap won the auction and when spoke to the gentleman In person, lexuschap tried to knock off £200 because he didn't have petrol money, the gentleman had to re-advertise his car saying Due to timewasters Adamprogny who tried to knock off £200 from the bid he put in due to not having petrol money I've had to re-advertise. I'm glad he's not on the forum, we don't need people like that on our forum

It's funny how you picked up on that part, but not the part where I said "he isn't honest with the faults the car has, and that he messes about with the milage, and has always got an invoice for the Cambelt being done"

I also think the ls430 your selling has a Vic marker against it, again you have mentioned that in your ad
