I would always get the parts from Lexus dealers, the vsv is around £52 but labour charge at some Lexus dealers is around £600 due to it being a 4 hour job. It's a bit of a so and so to get to. I had an ls430 but now drive an ls400, I had the exact same codes on the ls430, and it turned out it was the vsv sensor.
You think that's bad, have a look on eBay, there is a 1993 ls400 where the guy is asking £2500. I know the value on the mkIV has gone up, but that price for a 1993 ls400 is ridicules

All these different companies that do lpg, brc, prinns, stag, zenith, talking about zenith pro, one installer did say he can put zenith pro on my car using Hana injectors, and free flash lube, I don't know if zenith are any good

I know how you feel, I had 2 Audi s4's couple of years ago, both parked outside my house, and some so and so scratched both cars, now we have cameras up
It's a very common problem on the ls430, that's just the way the car is made, it is very noisy and not as quiet as the ls400, you may have to live with it
My brother has Bosch, tech stream and he's got the Toyota/Lexus diagnostic computer thing which he's used on my car just to test, he can do all sorts with that, he was telling me if I wanted anything reprogrammed on my car, I said no leave it as it is.
