  1. And what about clocking an ls430 that's done 280000 miles to 137000 ish, is that not a crime? Its not the first he's done it, and obviously he's still doing it
  2. And what about clocking that's done 280000 miles to 137000 ish, is that not a crime? Its not the first he's done it, and obviously he's still doing it
  3. I'm sorry mate but the guy is very dodgy, I'll give you couple of examples, he was selling an ls430, made out it had 135000 miles, and no faults at all, I knew the car he was selling because some other guy was selling before dodgy guy bought it of him, I called up the other guy, and he confirmed the car had infact done just over 280000 miles, and it needed a vsc sensor and the rear passanger door won't open or close, I called up dodgy guy and when I told him the faults with the car and the milage it did, he got abit angry and also asked if I had owned the car before, on another occasion he was selling a blue v reg ls400, made out again no faults at all, a friend of mine was interested, I told my friend to stay away from the dodgy Pratt, but he went down anyway, for some reason dodgy guy didn't want to meet outside his property, long story short, the car need 2 wheel bearings, that's just 2 cases, he's selling an ls430 now that has really done just over 180000 miles, but he's saying it's done 163000 miles, well there you have it
  4. I'm glad you've done that Roscoe, I don't know how he always gets away with it, I wanted to do that, but I didn't know how to report him
  5. Was the him with the black v reg celsior or was that his mate huzzy sal? I remember something where he said it has a timing chain lol, and didn't mention the fact it was running right
  6. Yes this guy is very very dodgy, he clocks backs the cars doesn't tell the customer the faults with the cars, and has changed his name numerous times, I don't know how he gets away with it, but I have heard there is a way of deleting bad feedback on eBay and I reckon that's what he does
  7. Air suspension bushes? I've never heard of them bring changed, I do know air suspension sensors are suppose to be replaced, and it's dealer only part at just over £300 a sensor and to replace £1700 all in, but I don't know how hard it is
  8. I had no restrictions on my celsior, I've also got afew friends with soarers and supra turbos with no restrictions
  9. Not really Adam, I had a Toyota celsior recently, a 1999 model with full leather etc, £420 per year
  10. That looks nice, you can get leather interior of eBay fairly cheap anyway, but the car does look good
  11. Try racing an Audi Rs4 or Rs6 or even an S4 or S6, then tell is what happens. The guy that was racing you was driving a standard Audi A6, so of course our ls400's would beat it
  12. Hi Adam I used in Insurance, it doesn't matter if you have 20 years no claims bonus, they still class it as 5 years no claims as that's the max you can really have
  13. I have heard of another ls430 having a replacement gearbox, it needed replacing because fluid or something got into the gearbox, I think it was coolant water or ps fluid got into the gearbox, don't ask me how
  14. That car looks really good, that guy must have some money to make his Ls look like that
  15. The ls430 is a very nice car, but not as reliable as the ls400, beware of the air suspension failing, that's dealer only part, vsv valve, £600 job but the part itself costs £58, rear doors locking shut and won't open from inside or outside, and the rest is usual wear and tear
  16. Sorry Steve, I've clicked on the link, but it comes up with error 404
  17. Yes Steven is a very nice and honest guy, I wanted that car of him, I was going to do a deal with him with my 2000 lpg converted ls400, I bought that of him aswell
  18. They will write it off for definite, the rear suspension will cost you £300 but you will need to change both rear sensors, but your will be a write no doubt about that. Sorry, did you buy the car from a friend of mine called Steven in Derbyshire sides?
