  1. I read summit about that back in the day. Was that on the salts in the US? Still, if they'd let this out it'll strip it's title but I don't think they'll ever let it see daylight again.... Someone build his own in the UK BTW. Imagine having a one off car! B)
  2. There's a 2.0 four cylinder diesel available in these Stuart. Same engine as in a little 3-Series BMW. Not overly nippy but it's alright. They should've kept the Rover L-Series lump going. They were bullet proof! The ride quality of the Rover 75 blinds the MG-ZT though. Gen1 was nice and classy, the later ones were pretty ugly IMO.
  3. Decided to give the car a wash yesterday and noticed all windows have a Lexus stamp apart from the passenger front one which is stamped Toyota. Is this normal?
  4. There's a Rover 75 for sale round the corner on a 53 plate for 700 quid. Awful lot of car for the money.
  5. Never went into production but oddly enough there's some pictures on the net where one's parked up somewhere. Nice looking thing and 4 proper seats not a weird bench in the back.
  6. Unlikely I'll be owning any of the cars below ever but if I could I would! Top 5 and in that order: 1. Nissan Skyline R34 V-Spec II in BSB or Nür. I'm not picky.... 2. Lancia Delta HF Integrale 3. BMW 7-Series E38 L7 4. 1968 Chevrolet El Camino 5. Rover 75 Coupe
  7. There's not much difference between the fronts and the rears but usually the tyre wall gets smaller the wider the tyre gets. On my old car I had 235/40/17 on front and 265/35/17 on the rears. They were staggered 8j & 9j Have a look here Stuart.
  8. 45 is the height. I have a site that works out the rolling radius etc Ill find it and post it tomorrow
  9. They'll provide more grip as there's more rubber connected to the road. Being RWD there's not as much weight on the drIving wheels as a FWD car having the engine weight on the driving wheels. That's why they usually put wider rears on. Usually the actual rims are wider too in that case. (Staggered)
  10. Are these staggered wheels or are you just fitting wider tires to the rear Stuart?
  11. Lucky that it hasn't touched to boot lid itself!
  12. Yes, it has been covered in the 'How to' section. Linky thing
  13. Yeah, they're nice. 11 spoke dark grey. Not many about either.
  14. Just the same ones as the black winter wheels. The ones in my sig. I just don't think black wheels look very good but they'll do for a few months during winter I guess. Got to sell 3 sets of my BMW wheels first before I get anymore or my misses will kill me....
  15. Cheers Panya. At least I know it's not some bodge pick & mix jobby. Let the summer roll on so the normal wheels can go back on. Or some Aeros if that car on the bay stops at or about 400 quid ish......
  16. What about the sides and rear, are they from the same type of kit? I'll dig a better picture than my sig up if I've got one.
  17. Don't know what the plastic tat is called round my car but the standard 5-spokes look alright I think. Not in black though....
  18. Hmmm.... I like Aeros and have seen a few cars with them and they were all silver. Not sure if they look as good under the blue one as the silver. Now if the car came with black leather as well..........
  19. Welcome back! Looks like a lucky escape you had. Get some picts up when the new car arrives.
  20. You've not got the snow button (next to TRC) depressed have you?
