    I think you might just have to try them. I wanted to fit my spare set of wheels to misses's Celica to eliminate a wobble and they didn't fit. This is a gen 6 Celica not 7 though.

    Not really Chris. I have tried my best but just don't get along with the thing. It is a lot of fun in the snow I must say. A LOT of fun I might say... It's just too small and uncomfy and no toys. Misses likes it quite a bit so might keep it as a fun car as I've just bought her a grown up car (kind of) the little Merc in the middle. Knobby will be along soon enough saying BMWs are ******* and his invincible IS is better....

    Feck off Karl.... Haha got enough cars ATM.. Celica is up for sale and the BM should be all sold soon so were back to normal although I'm looking for another E39....

    I don't think the X5 is a great drive and build quality feels cheap ish. Thing is, all new cars feel cheap IMO. Drove a 2006 IS last week and it felt worse than my old IS.

    Cheers Mr Iceman. Ill break it soon enough again I'm afraid. Only had the bonnet up twice since I've bought the thing in December. Ian, that will do for me. Do you know the size so I can get one? What a stupid idea though mounting it on the bonnet? Even misses cheap Celica has it laid flat on the cross member

    Seems like every time I touch this car something breaks..... Filling up the screen wash and trying to put this stick that holds the bonnet up back the plastic thing on the underside of the bonnet breaks off. I thought any car since 1990 had gas struts. Anyway, ragged the whole stick out now as it was laid on the engine and rattled. After the plastic thing that bolts to the underside of the bonnet if anyone comes across one please.

    Missed your post. This actually worked quite well and still does. Now if they could find a fix for the cardboard doors that flap open and shut in the wind.....

    Will try though. Not sure what car we'll be taking to the airport as boot space is limited in the IS and misses's shoe collection aint..... Funnily enough I was only 3-4 streets from you last week. Was a bit late otherwise i'd've ping'ed you.

    I was looking in the owners manual a while back and it said towing with the old IS is a big no. Then again, there's a tow bar as an option in the optional extra brochure I have towed various things with an auto and never ran into trouble. They were both bigger cars though.

    I just bought an '04 C180 Kompressor (2 door thing) for my misses to replace her Celica. I'm not a Merc lover especially the rusted and rotten 1999-2003 models but this is quite nice. Good on fuel. Then again anything is better on fuel than the IS Roughly the same size as an IS and they do a 4 door thing as well. Less common than a 320 although I'd rather had bought her a 3er RWD

    When I moved to the UK I took my test again as you lot drive on the wrong side of the road. Everything went fine until I made the stupid mistake of crossing a roundabout in third.....
