  1. Is there a warning triangle present as standard in an IS200 (see how much I've used the car)... Is there a certain minimum size for the GB sticker? I haven't taken any of my UK cars to the other side for some time as I had another two cars in Holland so always flown over but we're taking the IS to Holland and then lower Germany this summer so will be crossing to France most likely.
  2. That's quite impressive actually, well done Forgot to mention that I've put quite a lot of money in over the years..... :eerrrmm: Click on sig
  3. As Chris said, they're not very fast cars especially not for an L6 Is you're an auto or manual btw?
  4. It has a slight leak on the HP fuel pump which means I need to buy special tools to lock the chain, then get the seal replaced in the pump and have it pressure tested. The car is on 353000 miles atm so time to let go... It has loads of toys so I'm breaking it. The car is probably worth about a grand but it has made about 2400 quid in bits already without touching the engine bay, box or self levelling suspension. Cost a bit of time stripping it but it's helping others out and I'm getting a free holiday in the sun out of it... B)
  5. Same here! Grew up in the tropics so was snow-deprived for most of my childhood! lol why aren't the seats in the car at the moment? Used to have quite a lot of snow when I grew up in Holland and always went on skiing holidays twice a year. Shame it costs so much to get off this island as effectively you're paying twice the traveling costs. Not been for years. The memory seats are sold and awaiting pickup. I'm breaking the whole car.
  6. Does the IS200/300 have an adaptive box and can the values be reset?
  7. I hope so! I like snow! :) I really should stick my seats back in the BM and have some fun......
  8. Definitely needs the fogs back in. It makes it look like a late Rover 45 saloon
  9. The last bit of the number plate is nearly right....
  10. I would have thought the colour coding on the plugs and wiring to the plugs would not differ between an import or UK/EU model. Maybe you could source a set of buttons/switches from a breaker or even new and change them over. You could get a picture of a UK dash and enter the button description in Google Translate and look at the pictures and match them up on your car.
  11. This is getting boring! What 'GT-R' are you talking about? V35, V36 or V37 If you're grouping an M5 with a current line Skyline please use a current M5 and not some old tat... M5 is 4.4L V8 TT btw....
  12. I'm off to the pub but this should keep you busy for the rest of the afternoon....
  13. I have no idea Matt. I think he's cooked his brain... Back on topic. It has just started snowing again.
  14. Oh dear oh dear... You do not have a clue at all in this matter have you?
  15. You should be in politics Nobby. You talk so much ***** ! Those were all extracted from your posts and now you're trying to twist your own writing? You shouldn't even be driving never mind 'racing' with the drugs you're on............
  16. Yep! I get more sense out of my nearly two year old son. He only speaks three words!! What we now know is: • An IS300 can do 150MPH at a constant speed (might be a contender for LeMans 24)?? • Winter tyres are a waste of time as Pirelli summer tyres do the same job. (got new Pirelli's on the Celica but what do I know) • In Britain the chance of snow is limited to two weeks. • Spring starts a month earlier down south.... • BMW's are sh!t • The IS300 outruns anything "in it's weight capacity"¿ varying from 200 to 300BHP N/A or turbocharged... (even though it won't outrun a 325)... • Everybody's driving experience is the same and weather conditions never change so we can base times, top speed and acceleration on figures between different cars. • The IS300 is classed as a performance car. • The IS300 does defy the laws of physics. There was me thinking the IS300 was just a mid-class standard vehicle.....
  17. Well, if you see a blue IS speeding about round Sheffield it'll be my misses.... Y plate thing with black winter wheels under it...
