  1. Or go Gold and mug Steve for the contents of his car at the next meet! :D (Cheers Steve! :) )
  2. And the Lambo's! He wrote one of his own off filming one of the vid's space cowboy I think. Bought himself a replacement to finish the shoot! Now thats dedication! :)
  3. Jimmy, Let me know how you get on mate. I'm looking to all round on me SE at some point. Cheers A
  4. I don't suppose anyone is too concerned but .... If you use these 'handy' remote / auto start features while your car is on a public highway, you're breaking the law Could this also be a bit dangerous if you leave it in gear? Or does it not let you start if the car is in gear? Hmmm, not sure about the breaking of the law, but i can see huge benefits in fun, getting the car to start on it's own whilst im sat in histerics in a McD's
  5. Definately a good day! As for the trip back guys - you two should have followed me instead of taking the M3, could have had a nice cuppa in sunny Gosport - only took me 15 mins after leaving you two! Here Kieran - did you let that fiesta in front of you on the dual carriageway or did he not see the Lexus brigade he was getting in the way of!?!?? :duh: Thanks for the stickers Steve, i'll get them on when I get round to polishing my windows (along with the rest of the car! ) Cheers All! A
  6. Hmmm, interesting comments all round! Im waiting to get some non service work to be needed on my car and I'll take it to Guioldford and be all pally with them! (They're way too expensive for services - they wanted an extra £100+ for 40k!!!) As for Southampton - they just did my service - good job (even though they didnt have any rear brake pads in stock!) very friendly.
  7. Is this the new Lexus train?? Don't seem to have much tyre so perhaps it runs on tracks for the ultimate in handling!
  8. Hi Brian, I spoke to Micheldever askinf for quotes - they were actually more expensive than Station Tyres (even though both are part of Protyre now?!?), Thanks Andy
  9. Jump on a train Red - im pretty sure all the lexus' passing will be heading to the same place and more than happily give you a lift!
  10. http://www.protyre.co.uk I have found some price differences from store to store, the one i used was Station Tyres, Fareham . Good luck :)
  11. Hey guys, Just to let you know i eventually got round to replacing my tyres, hmm had to do all four after a blow out last night though! :( Anyway - went to a Protyre centre, about £50 cheaper than all other quotes for the Dunlops - but I went for some Falcerns. Yes I was sceptical too - but i have done 100 miles so far, fairly quiet and no noticeable difference to handling. All in inclusive of balance and alignment £298! thank you very much! Thought i'd let ya know - and if i get any probs with them i will too. Oh yeah - as for the blow out, BF Goodrich, blew the tyre into 3 pieces! (only about 6000 miles old):flaming:
  12. Hmm Didnt notice the TRD badge but definately had the altezza emblem on the grill! :)
  13. lol charles. I think I would have seen the black tho - this one needed to come out of warp temporarily when it got stuck to my rear bumper! :)
  14. Hmmm they are nice! That yellow one looks remarkably like a british plate one I saw on the M25 a few weeks back, it shot off down towards dover...anybody lay any claims?!?
  15. I am absolutely outraged by the support for this type of dangerous driving on british roads! Ooo BMW driver you say? Well thats ok then! Keep up the good work!
  16. Hmmm, lots of Lexi, lexuses (oh we've been here b4!!) and wineage! :) Count me in!
  17. OOOOOooooo Just realised your Local sais Yorks Loz! Beaulieu is a bit of a treck for you! Mind you, good way of testing out the car!
  18. Loz, You're right though - the last week Southampton has been crawling with Lexus' of all sorts! Hmm Maybe the boat show I guess, all us fancy car owners want a fancy play thing for the water too! :tumble: As for Beaulieu, it is a very small village on the New Forest coast line situated off of Jctn 2 of the M27 (down to the bottom of M3 and head towards Bournemouth). It is signposted from the motorway about 20 mins drive. Hope to see you there Andy
  19. Hmmm, Well Tesco was the best quote I could get with 3 points. Got me down to around £900 and included business travel (to and from multiple places of work). Having said that (touch wood) I haven't had a claim yet so not sure of the after sales side!
  20. Well it took alot of reading up on the companies history - and the other projects they are involved in. Working in IT Security im a bit dubious of things like this! BUT - Im happy, signed up and processes pretty molecular things! :)
  21. It was the bit about - Im gonna go down to "Ultra slick tyre company" this afternoon and complain. ROFL Oooooooh Please! Can you imagine the the service guy on the other side of the counter trying to keep a straight face?!?!:lol:
  22. Hmmm I think you'll still be seeing me at the land rover show when it comes to 4x4's!
