Nice mod dude, what's the price of the part? Any particular wire you need to extend with. Looks like I'm going to need Woz's help aswell :D It would be nice if you could spell out the destination address. I wonder how it understands different accents :P

I think it's a bit overkill mate and plus I'd still need to disconnect the light which would currently bring on the dash light. I got it from eBay ages ago and don't recall it having this sensor TBH. Isn't there a way of connecting the wires together like a kind of 'loop'?

As I've had IS300 spoiler with integrated led light fitted I now need to turn off the centre light by the rear screen. I believe it's called the high level light. I found this thread with the same issue: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...;hl=brake+light Can't I just disconnect the wire that goes to the bulb, or will this give a bulb out warning aswell? If not, what resistor or method do I need to apply, as I still want to retain the bulb out warning feature? I'm assuming the bodyshop took the feed from either of the rear lights as opposed to the high level light. Thanks in advance, IMHO four lights from the rear looks pants!

From personal experience I'd say stay clear of repairs like these. I'd just get it done right at a bodyshop first time!

That's one area where the IS falls down badly. I can easily get 33mpg from the 3 litre BM, whereas the Lexus I barely reach 25-28mpg!

I'd kick up a storm till the cows came home, and then some. They have lexus courtesy cars, so there's no way I'd accept a Vauxhall, I mean wtf are the on trying to fob me off with someones turd of a part ex for the week. :tsktsk: IF they gave me the, "all our courtesy cars are booked out at the minute". I'd say go and tax one of the forecourt cars and send it over! We bought into the Lexus brand for a reason I say!
