One other thing is the car doesn't need a full Lexus service history either. So long as they inspect it, they will usually warranty it.
I warrantied mine the month it turned 10 for peace of mind. Turns 11 this month and I have a year left.
It was also a pleasant surprise that MOTs are thrown in. I'd forgotten about that detail.
I wouldn't have my 2010 isf as a weekend car. It's a perfect daily, and I actually love the accelerator in normal, as I drive through rush hour traffic. Becomes tiring in sport mode.
I think for weekend duty I'd ideally want an LC500 or AMG GTS.
Which is why I suggested we document mileage.
We're driving pretty bullet proof V8's, not highly strung exotica.
Mine has 105k +, but had the radiator replaced in 2018 during service ( I don't know why) and I have warranty until Jan 2022.
But I'm fairly sure this issue has affected less than 2% of the ISF's in the country based on peak figures of 220.
Thought I'd drop in as my 2010 car had a new radiator installed by the previous owner during the 90k mile service 6 months before I bought it in 2018.
I dug out the paperwork to check the part number and it is U16400-38H10.
So had my MOT yesterday, and when they rang me to let me know, told me it was just going to be cleaned before it was ready, which surprised me. I asked them not to do the outside as I prefer doing it myself, but they certainly did the inside.
Thought I'd reply to this as I had an advisory against my front pads and discs, and thought I'd check ECP if there were any offers on to install in a couple of months.
40% off at the moment.

My car is booked into Lexus Birmingham on Monday for its MOT. They usually give me a courtesy car, but during the pandemic are obviously not offering this service.
