  1. Only 376 more to go! But you're catching me Loz
  2. I'm a qualified mediator. Does that count?
  3. Typical female never answer the question
  4. Sorry would have answered earlier but I've only just got back from lunch with a 'client'!!
  5. Just proves I'm not a child of the 80's not only do I not remember the I'm not sure I even noticed when they were around but late 60's early 70's then you're talking!
  6. My local Lexus dealer don't do tyres etc just take them down to a local tyre centre. I think tracking alignment as well. Remember a tyre specialist only does this sort of work and therefore should have the best specialist kit to do it where as a dealer will only do it occassionaly - so will they spend the money on the kit?
  7. What a man Loz. I only posted about the Porsche trip a rew days ago! I love the idea but practicalities may be an issue here. I would be coming en famille but extending to include Friday is a problem because of schooling, and my daughter has only just started at a new school. I will u2u.
  8. Some facts to wet your taste buds.About Champagne The Champagne region produces the most celebrated sparkling wines in the world. The region in terms of wine production was established by law in 1927 and is located ninety miles northeast of Paris. Spread over 312 villages, Champagne makes up only 2.5% of all French vineyards. It grows three exclusive grapes varieties: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. The terroir of the Champagne appellation covers a total of 85,000 acres. The main growing region stretches from around Tours-sur-Marne in the east to Château-Thierry in the west. The northernmost limits surround Reims and stretch down to Sézanne in the south. 9. I'm suprised at you all. You mean you actually notice a bmw.
  10. Not a problem I get at all. Totally smooth - I just move from one to the other and don't pause at R. Going from R to D is smooth too. If there's no problem with the box, thought would have been the creep setting was set too high or tick over. It is important to have your foot on the brake when you do it - keeps the shift lock off.
  11. Yeah but they throw it an SC430
  12. You've got to join Gold. If like me you pick up your own service costs the discounts on this alone will pay for the fee many times over. As for the jokes:rolleyes:
  13. Don't know where you are thinking of staying over there but check these out. I always use the Logis network - family run hotels, reasonable rate and usually good food. http://www.logis-de-france.fr/us/recherch/index-ca.htm Come on folks aanyone interested Christmas is not far off.
  14. Don't know what ferry deal your looking at for this date Norfolkline Dover - Dunkirk is going at about £99 but I'm sure if we get a crowd there are better deals out there. Might even be able to do the tunnel if we have a decent gang of us.
  15. It's in the diary and the wine racks are emptying fast. Come on lets have a jolly and go Bolly. Loz Do you mean 7th & 8th Saturday/Sunday or is it 6th & 7th Friday/Saturday - I can do either but I think Saturday/Sunday is better for most:?:
  16. You're right my office was in as a marked point with sound. I reckon someone's been playing with my settings. Sound has now gone.
  17. I'm a definite - got some parties to stock up for.:smilegrin::smilegrin:
  18. If you've read the ohter threads then you will know Lexus have sorted mine but mine's only a 1998 (99 model). If they haven't changed the seats dramatically they seem to be a component type of seat so you can just get bits for them. It might be worth just checking what bits have gone and seeing what they would cost to replace.
  19. Not aware that I have got my office as a marked point but I too will check. It's interesting that on my sat nav cd the steerts around my office are not recognised.
  20. I hope this is it. You dare Steve.
  21. As not enough people could make this weekend are we going to try another date. There was talk of the first weekend in December. Anyone out there? Are we going to make this happen?
  22. A man after my own heart. I always used to sleeve my gun once we reached 100 but it is the commercial pressures. I used to work Gordon Setters on Grouse moors in Wales in spare time. To watch dogs working that far in front used to scare guns silly until they saw them set the birds. Image the horror down in my neck of the woods when I used them on shoots for partridge! I feel good just remembering but my best dog died young and I decided not to replace her and never have. As an aside if the proposed bill becomes law you would be breaking the law. 2 dogs working is classed as hunting with dogs! It's not just the hunts with horses that are hit.
