  1. Agree. I can't see they'll ever make an LC-F. Shame however. With the climate the way it is and this increasing pressure to go electric, I can't see V8s holding value.
  2. Damian can now be found on Match, Plenty Of Fish and alike 😉 Brave man!
  3. I get that. Personally, I wouldn't touch a W204 - head bolts and all that - plus they look dated now (in comparison to the IS-F). I always wanted one of those or an E9X M3. That's how I settled on the IS-F. @hockeyedwards has a point with the V60 Polestar. I still have a run of the mill S60 and it drives really well and like the Polestar has active cruise (which is miles better than that found in the IS-F or later F cars). I know one X IS-F owner that went to a BMW estate. What about a 335d or petrol?
  4. W205 C63? If you like the IS-F, you'll love the 63! Still think Volvo is the answer 😉
  5. Isn't this just down to negative camber and common on performance cars? I have the same issue on my 63 (as @NemesisUK mentions). It's a real pain, as you rightly say, unless you get under the car, it's difficult to see!
  6. Mmmmmm- Options - 1. Volvo V90 Twin Engine - one car does all 2. Volvo V60 Polestar 3. Dump wife, give her a house and buy a Volvo P1800 I think I have covered all the options, therefore there is no need for any further responses.
  7. Hi Marcus. Possibly the orange has been putting people off? Also, I suspect the market is cooling for large engine capacity cars.
  8. E63s is a great drive and performance wise in a different league to any V8 F car. You could also try -
  9. Thanks. I’ll always have a soft spot for F cars. Only yesterday I spotted an IS-F for sale. Was a bit taken aback. Had to stop, get out and have a look round it. F community is a small community.
  10. Yep, got to be careful. I find that driving a car with more torque, you can get fun at lower speeds. I really did find myself really having to thrash the ISF and RCF to get fun out of the cars. Lower gearing would help - 3rd gear is apparently very long on the RC-F
  11. Yep, the gearbox is frustrating and only magnifies the lack of torque. For me, an F car is great at crawling and great when being thrashed - it’s the middle ground when you want to make effortless progress - that’s where it suffers. Made even worse if you stick an after market exhaust on.
  12. Yeh - I dig that. Like yourself I owned both an RCF and an ISF and bought nothing but consumables. I think the German reliability has improved. I’m three years into AMG ownership and once again I’ve only bought consumables.
  13. What a beaut! Those designers at Toyota could learn loads from the Swedes 🙂
  14. I used to, but the lack of torque killed me. You really have to spank an F car to get much from it. No room for that on the public roads. My Volvo has oooooodles of torque and great fuel economy.
  15. The way everyone is going electric, give it six months and you could well find yourself getting a deal. Less and less people are looking for big capacity engine cars that are expensive to tax. Mix in the fact the cost of living, inflation, interest rate increases and it could soon be a buyers market!
  16. It was pointed out to me that someone had taken my comments seriously, took to Facebook and quoted the car as having a hard life. 😂
  17. Always disliked the wheels on the LC500. Too bling. Obviously designed for the yanks.
  18. £32k. Nice. I sold it for £34k 😂😂😂😂
  19. Well - it's a Lexus trimmed in carbon, so taste is questionable. The red tips - just the icing.
