PS: I tried to access the hidden menu via both the INFO and DISP buttons but no joy.

Dang, those marks are considerable A clean and polish should help reduce them but that's not the point is it, folks should take more care. Good luck getting any response from the car park owner, pals have tried this in the past and made zip all progress. Arranging to park on a private drive nearby sounds like a good option.

From what I've seen, tinting tends to look deeper outside the car vs inside. Waiting for some folks to chime in with their experiences...

Those changes have all come out well, are you pleased? What's the score with tinting? What are the legal rules? Is it expensive? Does a %age tint reduce internal temps by xC? MrsF wants some to keep her V-dub cool inside. I sometimes wonder if she intends to move to the Med! With or without me? They might also work well on my Obsidian barge [emoji848] Would also help to keep my batteries chilled [emoji6]

Have you considered buyer a cheap run around? Then it doesn't matter if it gets abused.

Andrew @Odysseus,I've dug out some instructions for a secret menu that looks like it'll allow me to enable the reversing lines. I'll let you know if they work. If not, then maybe it'll have to wait until I get Techstream running. If neither of these options work then I'll grab some magic markers!

Gutted to read about this as the lanes clearly show the other driver cut you up. The assessment doesn't mention any structural or suspension damage, which is kinda good provided he's taken a look underneath. Since the accident, does the car pull to one side, brake oddly or have any vibrations?

Hi Robb / @dougie175, it looks like the dotted area in your car is lower than mine so the camera would need to be lower. But your pic's suggest it'll still sit behind the mirror. Mounting the F770 on the drivers side would mean that the lens is more central to the middle of the vehicle and sit squarely on the screen. As my camera lens is further off the vehicle center line, I have twisted the camera install slightly to get a more even left/right picture. IF you were to mount the camera on the drivers side then I think it would fit in front of the mirror, even with it angled towards the driver. At least it looks like it should in my car. However the reason I mounted my camera on the passenger side, was to get it completely out view from the driver and more importantly to keep it MOT compliant. The windscreen is divided into 'zones' and even tho my camera is in zone B, this area is more lenient. As the dash cam is tucked up behind my mirror and out of the drivers view, it's less likely to be an issue in the MOT. Using this install I've not had any issues in the last 2 MOT's, in the GS and my old Honda. "The Ministry of Transport has strict guidelines regarding the positioning of windscreen 'obstructions' and an incorrectly installed camera could lead to an MOT failure. In short, they deem that objects encroaching more the 10mm into zone A (the 290mm wide area directly in front of the driver) or 40mm into zone B (the rest of the windscreen swept by wiper blades) would be a reason for rejection of a valid MOT certificate. The only one I have kept active is the collision warning when a vehicle is too close in front. I've backed off the sensitivity and even then it can get annoying when cars keep cutting back in front of you. It also gets thrown off sometimes when off taking large vehicle like trucks, I presume due to their shadow? But it does help to keep you on your toes. I don't and haven't used any of the parking features, so can't comment on those prompts but I presume they too can be disabled. You'll find a few more F700 pic's in my build thread ;)

Arrgggghhhh, what a shock. The builders must have been really slapping the gobo around to get if lofted right over the wall. It probably occurred when they emptied a sloppy mix into a barrow. There's likely to be splatter all up the inside of the wall(s). Builders eh, tsk. Be careful removing it, as you say it'll easily scratch the paintwork. Has the clear coat got any obvious marks from where the globs have been sat overnight?

The Yankees also have a lower octane fuel. I figured that was a major contributor and I hadn't considered your points.
