  4. you guys...i don't know if a sensitive, shy n fragile female like myself could of handled an evening with you lot! strap-ons indeed!! :o glad you all had a good one - looking forward to joining in next time around...i'll bring the batteries
  5. damn shame, but me & hubby won't be coming along tonight - he's working a bit too late & i'm coming down with a cold - i'm sure you wouldn't want me coughing n spluttering all over the place!! have a great time anyway :D Abbie
  6. LS looks beautiful but i'm not sure about the IS - perhaps if it wasn't that shade of yellow...
  7. i caught this when i was flicking thru the music channels the other night - wondered what the heck it was to start off with! very amusing - don't think 'slim' looked too impressed with the 'winner' at the beginning tho...?! ;)
  8. NO, NO, NO.....!!!!!! http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2005040984,,00.html sorry, don't know how to change it so it just says LINK, doh! :P
  9. just a shame not all lexus dealers treat us the same way...(see other thread re:Nottingham)
  10. probably same time, 11.05pm i think. i've seen programmes on this guy before & what he does with bodies - although pretty gruesome, i thought it fascinating & very educational (as i sat there wiggling my fingers & toes just to check i'd got all the same bits n pieces!!) any guys sitting tightly crossed legged at the sight of his 'bits' dangling about in mid-air?!?
  11. here you go... :ooh-ducky: :P
  12. Aido - pls add me n hubby as 'definitely/maybe'! will know better nearer the day - thankyou kind sir, Abbie
  13. i've completely lost the will to live & wished i'd taken heed of the warning at the beginning about reading this thread...but i am so glad there was a happy ending!!
  14. Aido, we still have no definition of who SHE is - spill, NOW! :P don't know about the meet, have to see what hubby is up to - but hopefully i'll persuade him & we'll be there. @ Gord - it's not too often that i get ignored, or should i say the IS300...i'd like to take the credit, but i know it's the car really!! regards, bird in a (now clean) IS300 aka Lexxy (why can't that by my real name anyway?! it could be Alexis & not just me being sad n calling myself after my beaut car ... :P ) aka Abbie
  15. i have a very good idea who this was, but not saying in case i make a proper fool of myself! 12.40pm today in Derby, just off the island at Sir Frank Whittle Way & Mansfield Road - you'd just pulled onto Mansfield Road & i was waiting at the junction opposite the Honda garage... oh, thanks for letting me out by the way, or should i say, NOT!!! :P & your wonderful machine needs a good clean too!!
  16. Lexxy, now you're talking, where have you been all my life? :D We've just got to make sure my girlfriend doesn't find out or else the new 430 may suddenly acquire a custom look - probably caused by every conceivable panel being struck by a heavy blunt object. hmmm, perhaps not then! we want to keep your new toy in pristine condition for as long as poss... I have to be honest, I was covering the brake pedal throughout the entire time I had the ACC activated... just in case! We did ask about testing the PCS (Pre Crash System) but the sales guy wasn't too keen. For anyone that hasn't heard of PCS - when the car realises that you're simply going too fast to brake in time to avoid an object ahead of you, it goes into "scare you witless" mode: it throttles down, changes gear, applies the brakes, adjusts the suspension and tightens the seatbelts - now that is cool! ← wow! now that REALLY is cool!!! p.s. serious amount of curiosity getting the better of me here, but how the heck do you manage to be getting hold of a brand new 430 at your age?!?! what's your secret??? rich parents or are you just in the mafia...?
  17. i don't know your age, but i can offer 2 options - can you adopt me as a new daughter (my dad's getting a bit past it, so i could do with trading up :P ) or i make a wonderful wife/home-maker/s*x goddess/bit on the side etc etc.... i drove a new LS430 at a recent open road day - thought i'd hate it as it was so big - oh, did i fall in lurrvve instantly! you are one very lucky guy B)
  18. MANY HAPPY RETURNS... hope your hangover isn't too awful tomorrow! :ooh-ducky:
  19. U2, simple minds, erasure, the smiths, the cure, guns n roses, duran duran, wham, spandau ballet, eurythmics, bon jovi, happy mondays, stone roses - all the mega dance music starting around then too. i have wide & varied tastes & remember many a drunken night on the dance floor whirling around to the 80's classics...ah, happy dayz! all time fave, if i was pushed to pick one - Simple Minds, Don't You Forget About Me - shivers down the spine even now when i hear the first few beats! :D
  20. never mind the quality, just feel the width eh?! or something like that!! :P
  21. awful, truly awful...but as we've all said - at least you came out of it pretty much unscathed. take care M8. x
  22. for my IS300 i ordered an 18" standard blk & 20" super sporza - they fitted great & work brill BUT they could really have done with both being a little bit longer...so next time it'll be the 19 & 21. i got them from speeding.co.uk too & i'm pretty sure they were £37 'ish.
  23. same here - nottingham wash it - but it's only really good enough to give you a head start & give it a 'proper' clean... ;)
  24. erm...(girlish type titter & flutter of eyelashes) if i go into my comp/properties/performance - it says 60% system resources free. i thought RAM was my memory? doh... :duh: i've gone to one of these sites that does an actual check on your pc & it's told me what type of thing is compatible, 168pin dimm sdram pc100 128mb, intel rc440bx motherboard (might as well be greek to me ). does this help at all??? ← i hate to be the pushy type - but any suggestions on this pls fellas? do i need to buy more memory...? i can't really afford to splash out on a new PC just at the mo' as we're having building work done on the house, & you just know how the bills start to mount up for that sort of thing! thanks :D
