Just to let everybody know, I have now neg a deal with the Lexus Dealer in Hadleigh Brought the following IS200 Sport Astral Black, Oakham Trim, Styling Kit with 18 inch 6 Spoke Alloys and Side Skirts. No cars in the UK to this spec or on route from the plant. So it's a factory build, Dealer reckons Mid June, I think more like The end of June. Countdown starts now.!!!!!! Opps nearly forgot Mats and Tank for Petrol.

The 'Sport' badge on the Sport grille, can you get replacement badges and if yes does any know the part number. Thanks

Thanks guys, that's my I posted before I bidded, Supracharged-IS340, Stupid question coming up, I take it from you comment about the wiring loom, There is no screen connections under the 'IP', I would look inside one, but My car has yet to be built so I have nothing to look at to comfirm wiring etc.

Do you get the vibration through the seat at the same time as the steering wheel, if yes and you have had your wheel balance checked and double checked. Check the front wheel bearings for 'Play' if they are OK Check all steering joints, links etc for 'Play' Do you get the vibration and shimming steering wheel when you apply the brakes and can you feel the brake padel moving slightly up and down up under your foot, when you apply the brakes Steering wheel shimmy under braking, Distorteded front disks Brake padel, slight movement up and down, Distorted rear disks, you can confirm this by slowing the vehicle down using the hand brake, Hold in the release button with your thumb and gently apply the hand brake, you will feel the lever move up and down slightly as the pads come into contact with the disc. It could also be a 'prop shaft' out of balance, This would give you a general vibration through the car. 'I've jacked up the front end and noticed one wheel spins pretty freely, whereas the other is stopped fairly quickly by the brake'. Sticking caliper, is there any discolouration on the either side of the disc face, this will cause the disc to distort and cause vibration/shimming steering wheel underbraking Hope the above is some help,

javaboss, I spoke to Hadleigh a while ago and I wasn't that impressed with them, mainly because of the hassle with arranging a test drive, I wanted a IS200 sport for 24 hours from Sat morn to Sun morn as during the week is a bit of a waste of time because of work all they could offer was to let me have the car for 1 hour which is no where near long enough the evaluate the car. Based on you experience and contact name I will them give them a call tomorrow, I post here how I got on. Please see PM.

Very Interesting points, I've made a couple calls this morning, One dealer will only quote list price OTR, with no deals. The other quoted over 1K off the list price OTR. The only problem I have is that the spec I want and I won't compromise on it, the earlest I can get the car is June which is 3 months wait. :( :( :( madder69 I will ring Croydon later today and mention your name, if you get the £75 recommendation fee, how about 50/50 split. Steve, Sorry I didn't explain myself very well, were given a choice of style of 18 inch alloy?? the reason for asking is that the Lexus web site is showing some new style 18 inch, ie The Chicane wheel.

Has the cold start idle always been that high???????, high RPM on cold start is OK and idle will decrease with engine temp, cold start engine idle is normally factor of Engine Coolant temp or Cylinder Head temp v Idle speed dependant on where engine temp is measured (idle speed is decreased as engine warms up).

Your mates been miss-informed, you only need to drop out the engine and transmission to change the clutch not the cam belt
