Does the wheel corrosion problem only effect the standard 5 spoke alloys or are the 6 spoke 18inch alloys effected as well, which incidently are made in the 'UK'
Try this asap before google fixes its www page, it is worth it and very
funny:
Try it, before Google suses what going on:
1) Go to Google.com;
2) type in (but don't hit return): "weapons of mass destruction";
3) Hit the "I'm feeling lucky" button, instead of the normal "Google search" button;
4) read what appears to be a normal error message carefully.
This isn't the first car they have forgotten.
Looks like Lexus UK are forgetting to a lot things lately,
Sounds like :tsktsk: service to me and 'That'll Do' attitude.
In the U.K a professional installer WILL take out the windows and go right to the edges
rather than have a gap all the way round(the old days).
Does anybody know a good pro installer, in the Essex, Herts, Kent London, areas.
Picked up mine, 3 weeks ago (new) spec below
Sport decals in the rear windows
If you have the 18inch 6 spoke alloy wheels did you get the silver 'L' centre caps, mine only came with clear plastic, I know Burnsy got the silver 'L's on his only couple days ago on his new one and I know for fact they are 'Miss' building cars at the moment.
Sounds like mine are the same as yours, that said now that I've cleaned the car properly, it does look to bad. I'll wait and see what the feed back is like from the people I work with as we are all prefectionists and very critical of all car manufactures on how they put there cars together and the materials that are used.
For painting the seal, that's a no no as the paint will flake off over time and that will look much worse.
If I had known that then I would never had bought them, another black mark to LEXUS. The salesman should have informed that they only come with a grey seal, seems pretty poor to me and penny pinching.
Do you know how well they fit at lower section at the front of the rear wheel arch.
Has anybody had Lexus side skirts fitted recently, what colour is the seal between the skirt and body, I have a black car with a grey seal is this right and how well do they fit the body and the lower front section of the rear wheel arch.
Excellent suggestion, although the headrest are not handed, either will fit on the LH and RH side, but they do need to be the right way round.
I now have adjustable rear headrests, one less complaint.
Couple questions from an owner of 9 days
Are the rear headrests supposed to be height adjustable? there are a couple of slots on the pins but mine don't lock into the slots.
How do you keep the lower section of the rear window screen clean (rear speakers) get in the way.
Downright Nasty:
You're not just a law breaker, you're a pretty evil person… Some of those things you have done are gonna put you on a one way escalator going down when your time is up. Give up hope of changing, you're a lost cause!
Based on your answers, we have calculated the maximum penalty for your crimes*:
Years in prison: 132 Potential fine: £9500 Plus a possibility of the death penalty!
*Please note this is just a fun quiz so don't be alarmed by your score! The maximum penalty has been taken for each crime and no consideration for scale of crime committed
There words not mine, I don't even have a criminal record or any outstanding parking fines.
I'm nice person really
Hi, Your local Lexus dealer will relieve you of around £500, that's for supply, paint, fitting.
Hopefully you will have better luck than me, one of mine reacted to the paint, so it's ruined, should get the pair fitted this week.
