  1. Get a quote from them by all means, then give A-Plan a call (number's at the top of the page as they're sponsors), they have a knack of blowing other quotes out of the water! Don't forget to mention that you saw the ad on LOC!
  2. My mother tipped latex on the carpet at home, ended up snipping bits out! A lot was left in the carpet for years though, until she found out that NAIL VARNISH REMOVER shifted it. Worth a try, but test the underside of the mat for colour-fastness first. Oh, and try to do it with the door closed, make the most of all those fumes! :duh:
  3. Forgot all about this. No, nothing here either.
  4. YouTube aren't the only ones having problems, is someone knocking your arm as you're typing, Ahmet? :P
  5. Would be a shame if the new version of the software turned out to be a convoluted, bug-ridden bag of s**t and they had to go back to the old one, eh?
  6. I've got to say I love the title of this topic. "Car Giant, Shall I buy it" - I know some of the guys on this forum are loaded, but loaded enough to buy a car firm?
  7. That's right Maneesh, or should I say PIMP (in capitals)
  8. Someone slashed tyres on about 40 cars in three streets (including mine) in the early hours of New Years Eve. Luckily I was away so didn't get done. Got the ***** on CCTV too - tempted to YouTube it now and put a link on the local Knowhere Guide...
  9. Got a ZX1 LED watch. Looks nice, but display is unreadable outdoors in daylight.
  10. Don't think they can do that, unless a failure can be directly attributed to the conversion. If your cambelt snaps or the aircon compressor fails, for example, they'll be putting themselves into a very nasty (and potentially litigious) situation if they try to dodge out of it by saying the warranty's void because of the LPG conversion. By the way, in response to the first question: my fuel costs are now about 10p per mile, instead of 20p per mile on petrol.
  11. He's teaming up with Mike Morse. Mike does the living-in-Nigeria bit, Maneesh does the 419-scamming bit.
  12. A couple of old Jasper Carrott ones in there, but some fresh ones too. Nice!
  13. That white GS looks like it's smashed a kerb, judging by the angle of the front wheel! Bet it eats the tyres, would never do that to mine, it just looks ridiculous!
  14. You could use Sipgate and do it with VOIP. Pick an area then pick a number from the list they give you. Use it, drop it, pick another.
  15. I've TPS'd all my numbers, doesn't stop some clown trying to sell me a loan. The line was so faint last time (international call) I couldn't be arsed to lead him on and just hung up. Next time I'll get all the details, then give him the standard-issue police caution and see what he says... :P
  16. I was going to agree with you here, then I realised I'd misread "defecting" as "defecating", which puts a different slant on the topic somewhat.
  17. Like you'd know about such things, Jase :P Feed it sweets? I'd rather feed it thermite! Didn't know about the need to discharge every so often, this would explain the single flashes that some are apparently seen giving off, as I assume a Gatso Junior would trigger a double-flash just like the Radar 24?
  18. They've already raised over £140,000 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance service! Update: Richard's been moved from High Dependency to a general ward. News here.
  19. Um...No it's not mine is a mod :D Actually 2 diodes are needed :D yep, sorry, you're right...two diodes :D :D Or one big one. Remember that the foglights are wired together anyway, so you can't feed one without the other! A 6 amp diode such as a P600A should do the job nicely.
  20. Spotted last week... RX400h at White Rose Shopping Centre, Rhyl. Left the car park just behind me. Dark blue gold-badged LS400, ***77, parked at the roadside in Abergele and also passed when it was waiting at the roadside on the road to Towyn. IS250 at Ty Mawr Holiday Park in Towyn, spotted on the 16th. Silver R-reg LS400, parked in Llandudno town centre yesterday.
  21. As Chris said, only a saving of £60 on an outlay £1500, you would get better odds banking IT Assuming he only does 1,000 miles, ever, of course that would be the case! Mine cost £1700 all-in (using a toroidal tank in the wheel well), and has now paid for itself. Filled up earlier at 40.9p/litre!
  22. Well pointed out. Should've pitted his M5 against a Mk.1 LS, which would close the "toys gap" slightly yet is even older and with an even bigger difference in price!
  23. GS Mk.2 rear badges are all sticky-pad-only.
