  1. Don't think I'll be Japfesting it this year, might have to take my sister to the X Factor audition in Manchester! She's got the invite, but I'm not 100% certain about transport as she's got to rely on her ex to take her. If he plays silly buggers I'll take over.
  2. I take it you'll be on the ferry, then? They won't take LPG powered cars through the tunnel.
  3. Divide 282 by one to get the other, works either way round. Not an easy one to do in your head though! Calculator here. A few useful ones (mpg or l/100km on left = l/100km or mpg on right):- 05 = 56.50 10 = 28.25 15 = 18.83 20 = 14.12 25 = 11.30 30 = 9.42 35 = 8.07 40 = 7.06
  4. Bearing in mind that more than a few people don't know which side is offside, you're better off asking for the driver's side foglight, which is what it is - on RHD cars at least! :P (I managed to pick up a bargain nearside foglight for my GS, whilst someone else who wanted one ended up bid-sniping the far side one instead!)
  5. Look how far back the seat is - I take it you weren't the last one to drive it, Am! :P
  6. Yep, that's the ones. If you visit www.aquapac.co.uk you'll find an application list. Look up your camera/camcorder/phone and you can see which Aquapac fits it. You can by from the site too, but eBay tends to be a bit cheaper. I picked up a 441 (the large one you've found) for £30 dead-on from the eBay user rtccomms but he's not got any of those ones at the moment as far as I can tell.
  7. Yep. Is that <insert name of large builders' merchants here> one still valid?
  8. Hadn't seen that before. What on earth's that turbo from, a train? It's huge!
  9. Very, very nice. You flash git! :D You'll have to change your username from Scarface to SCarface now!
  10. I've used an Aquapac case for a while now, got an LCD TV in the bathroom and the Aquapac holds the remote! It's never let in a drop, even when I've been idly sitting in the bath playing with it (the Aquapac that is ) until I've realised that I've been idly playing with the release catches! :o Got a bigger one now. Would've been for a 360 wireless controller but not easy to use the analogue sticks, so it's for my Panasonic DMC-LX2 now!
  11. The Toyota EPC covers Lexus models if you have the Lexus dealer code to unlock the Lexus models. Good thing is, you only need the code that goes with one particular disc and it unlocks the lot. So say you have a load of 2003 discs, but only an old 1997 disc with a Lexus dealer code, you can add this old disc to your EPC along with the others, enter the code and it unlocks the lot! What year's your car?
  12. The whistle may have been down to the injectors. See what it's like when you get it back. If it's sluggish on gas he should be able to tweak the LPG ECU mapping to bring the performance up a bit.
  13. I think BiGas is one of the better known ones, Romano being another one. Many of them seem to share the same ECU (the AEB one), albeit with different firmware.
  14. Not forgetting of course Sony's reputation for quality and reliability, which went out of the window with the PS2 (disc read error, anyone?). I can't imagine the PS3 being any more reliable. I for one won't buy any more Sony products. The only Sony kit I have at home is a MiniDisc recorder and a 14" Trinitron TV, both made when they still gave a damn about quality control.
  15. Got Pirelli P7000s on the GS. Found out on Sunday night that they do NOT like snow! Not helped of course by the fact that it looks like Blaenau Gwent Council forgot to grit the A465!
  16. I believe that if two offences are committed simultaneously, you only get points for the one which can carry the most points. e.g. 3 bald tyres, cop says "I'll be good to you and let you off on two of them" = bull 'cos he can't give you 9 points for having 3 bald tyres. I've had a look on the net to find some evidence supporting this, but have only found info applying to Northern Ireland so far. As for red-light cameras doubling as speed cameras, Googling "speed on green" will turn up some info.
  17. Shouldn't be a problem finding one! Look on eBay or www.autotrader.co.uk to get some idea of the prices they fetch.
  18. On the Mk.2 there are two plastic caps on the inside (boot-lid-side) edges of the lights, remove these to access the bolts. Inside, there are another two plastic caps in the fabric behind the lights. Remove these to gain access to the nuts which also retain the lights. You might want a long-reach socket to fit these, or put the socket on the nut before fitting the ratchet (if the ratchet is pushed home first you may find the socket isn't deep enough).
  19. Excellent. Don't just drop her, get her feeling on top of the world, then drop her! The guy was all set to propose, so he must've felt physically sick when he found out what she'd done. She deserved it!
  20. Any distinguishing marks that set it apart? Aftermarket lights / scratches / stickers?
  21. Including the 430? In the handbook it shows the GS430 as having "4" in the position taken up by "M" on mine. Speed: it eases off the throttle, then changes gear. About the same response time as a kickdown.
