Don't want to sound like the mighty moral one or anything, but isn't this cheating? And do we, as proud Lexus owners, really need to resort to this kind of thing for a silly little internet poll?! We should be proud of what we drive, and not give a ***** about anyone else!

Honestly, it's stuff like this that makes you think twice about buying a decent car- this place is full of so many wowwypops its untrue.

I agree with most of you lot (conveniently). The guy was taking the p*ss. Sure, even if he is the best of the bunch when it comes to advanced driving, he does need to practice and master the car he drives, but why on earth at that speed?! At the end of the day you would want the driver to be competent if he was called to drive that fast in a real life situation- you wouldnt want any driver going so fast with no experience. But I refuse to believe anyone needs to go THAT fast, especially in an unmarked car (with no blue lights I should add). Secondly, as has been mentioned, he should have authorisation to drive at that speed on any particular road, which he obviously did NOT have, hence being caught by other police!! Thirdly- even if he is ***'s gift to advanced driving, I'm sorry, but at those speeds his reactions would be just as poor as anyone else, and it is simply dangerous to be doing what he was doing- his own own ability/skills only count for so much when he is driving out in the real world due to so many other factors. And finally, it was a vauxhall!

Singh, try the suited and booted approach- works with me. When I have my hoody on (to keep me warm when i get into the car in the winter, before any chav-bashing starts!) I always get more hassle, but I can understand why because of the chav/rudeboy stereotype, as frustrating as it is. Nowadays, when I get into the car and it's cold, I just put up with it until the climate control warms it up! I don't live too far from Southall so you know the score! Rav
