  2. yep certainly makes finding hard to find bits easier and it looks like you are hard at work when you are poring through a parts catalogue need to find a jet that has a few more transferrable parts though :D
  3. finally got the induction kit sorted just used the original kits induction pipe cut off the mk2 maf sensor mounting and got some silicon hose and fitted the maf sensor housing onto the induction pipe then nipped down to the machine shop and whittled an adaptor for the front of the maf sensor housing out of aero aluminium and voila a tailor made induction kit. Now as soon as i can find a good number for some t-bar clamps i will replace the jubilee clips and it will look the business
  4. rebuilding the calipers ? can you get caliper seal kits anymore ?
  5. thats my thoughts it doesn't make sense to change them but stranger things happen at sea
  6. anyone have any idea if the fitment amd specs of the brake discs on the uk version of the GS300 is any different to the US model and are the discs the same throughout the GS series i.e the same part on a 94 GS as a 2000 GS cheers Leg
  7. they look the part but its a nightmare working out the fitting because i refuse to cannibalise my original backbox so i bunged them on ebay and have since found a place that will make the pipes for me :duh: so if i make a profit i'll try again

  17. I am in the middle of an exhaust project and i need some old/knackered backboxes from a mk1 GS300 what i really need is the flange and pipes that go to the back box but after a quick shufty i am assuming it is one part so if anyone has a set of old boxes i would be interested in them which is a good way of getting a few quid for something thats broken or you dont want Also if anyone knows if i can get the flanged pipe on its own that would be helpful too Cheers Leg
  18. this has probly been mentioned but all my backups (ahem) in my changer are CD-R copies i use nero v6.3 to do all my burning and have never had a problem with it the only real thing i can think of is something i did once which was tick the wrong box in the burn set up and never noticed it and it didn't convert the files to wav from mp3 as most cd players won't recognise mp3 files
  19. dismatling i can do but wiring sounds like electrickery to me :duh: cheers for the info though
  20. a CD-R is a CD-R as far as i know it shouldn't make any difference as long as you use that format it may be the dye or the plastic is different/more scratch resistant but essentially they are the same
