  1. studs usually thread into place what u need is somethiong called an eazy out kit but i would imagine it would be cheaper to get it changed at a garage its not difficult to do u just drill out the center of the stud and put a tool that grips and rotates the stud out but it can be a bind if the stud is grolleyed in
  2. right i have just got a induction kit for my 94 gs300 and i need to mod the mass airflow sensor fitting slightly from the look of the bottom of the sensor there is the main sensor part then further up there is a long plastic dowel, this dowel is what i am worried about i don't know if it is a location dowel or a sensor in its own right and i need to take this into consideration when i mod the bracket so if anyone knows anything about it any advice would be appreciated
  3. if its sat theat low to the tyre it would be quite dodgy to drive it but if you have no bumps to go over and a short distance then i would risk it i would also jack the car and have a look at the spring to confirm it is that. As a rule i always replace things in symettry when i do brakes or suspension and i think you may have to buy them as a set although i could be wrong but it would be best practice to do both sides hope it doesnt work out too expensive
  4. easiest way to get tight caliper bolts off is give them a saoak with wd40 for a few houras or even do it the night before doesn't matter if u get it on the disc and pads if you are changing them and on reassembly use some copper or aluminium slip

  6. its a beautiful looking machine isn't it and i want one NOW lol. But seriously i always find with severe facelifts and newer models its best to leave it a while and let someone else get the minor mech and elec problems out the way i know they are quality cars but there will be something that niggles there always is

  14. i don't use the radio in my gs but i have heard of the problem because i was looking at voltage stabilisers and the alledged performance benefits but after research i found the only real thing that was proved was they improved ICE clarity so maybe they are worth a try never had one myself but they are cheap enough on ebay. There may be someone out there who has tried one
