  1. I am nearly sure Fargo has a kit for this with different colours available. He also does the dash and speedo LED conversion. Send him a pm and he should be able to help.
  2. Thats not the same C-One bumper that I know of. The one I have seen and that I want has a large deep mouth for the intercooler. It is on the lextasy site and POTN too.
  3. Are they available in a larger size. For eg something you could mount on a wall etc for a home feature. Also do any of the electronic wizards on here know if you can get the soft ware to connect to your own screen???
  4. I also thought that all is200 sport's had an LSD regardless of year. I have yet to come across a sport with no LSD. and for the record mine is a 2000 and has the LSD as standard!
  5. Lift the battery out and you will see the loom going in down behind the battery. You should be able feed them through there. The only problem is getting them on the other side as if I remember right you can't get at that rubber bung through the glove box. You will have to stick your head under the glove box/ dash and find the wires coming through. The other way to do it put a wire coat hanger from the cabin side through to the engine bay then tape the wires to the hanger and pull them back through. :-)
  6. Congrtulations man!!! I have one on the way too but I will have to wait until October though!! :-)
  7. castrol RS is good!! I usually go for fully synthetic.
  8. Next stop for the D1 drift team!!!.........tunnel of doom:-) LOL
  9. Dave (Prolex) does a turbo kit. He is one of the sponsors of the site and his web address is on the forum home page. There are plenty of threads with loads of info on turbos and superchargers on the forum.
  10. Nice one Adie. I will be very interested to see the power output from 0.7bar when fully mapped. I will be upping my boost slightly when the turbo finally makes its way back to me but I was only gonna set it at 0.6bar. I may reconsider now!!! :-)
  11. Cracking stuff Spock. I have just turned green all over. I would also be interested in the cost of these pistons and rods as I am looking at a rebuild soon my self. Hope you get it back up and running asap so we can see the potential of the rebuild!!!
  12. Standing in at a show with my mates sister and she came out with.... "Oh my ***......I've got more coins than the Mario brothers!!" Thought it was hilarious!!
  13. I am another person very interested in seeing how much the 1g-fe can take. If i end up getting the money for the engine rebuild i will be raising the boost at 0.1bar each week to see what happens!! I will also take note of the characteristics of the engine while doing this to give a more accurate description of its behaviour. Although until then I would like to hear about somebody else currently in this position!
  14. I think when I tell that joke to somebody the male brain will be the cheaper of the two!!!
  15. Yeah Daza you should easily break 300. You should be up near 400bhp at least with forged internals no probs but then the turbo may start to run out of puff. I will soon be going for some forged goodies too so will be interested to see how you get on with yours.
  16. very funny but why does the fireman have to be Jamaican??
  17. Spock was pushing for 300bhp when his went. He also didn't have the same fuelling setup either. If I can remember correctly he had a 5th injector fitted in the air intake which does work but is not the ideal solution for precise mapping. I will be going no higher than 280bhp no matter what, which should be fine with the right fuelling. Mark (TDI) I THINK also said he has seen an IS running 0.8bar with no probs. I shouldn't need 0.8bar to get 280bhp either.
  18. I would say that mine would be up there in top power figures. I haven't had it rolling roaded yet but with a full stand alone ECU, full straight through custom exhaust, return line fitted and bigger injectors about to be fitted I would like to think I would give most people on here a good run for their money. It has also been very finely mapped to get the most from it. Once our rolling road gets working properly again I will be mapping the car to 280bhp until I do the engine rebuild. I guesstimate that it is currently about 270bhp.
  19. I have heard this term "hosepipe ban" a few times before but never actually put any thought into what it was. I am amazed that there is a ban on using a hose pipe!!!!! Why is this? for what reason? What possible harm could a hose pipe do??? Am I living in the real world??? "As he picks his jaw up off the floor!!"
  20. Noel, You could end up cost yourself a lot of money replacing and checking parts that are fine. Only to find out that it is actually static in the end!! LOL Just a thought.
  21. Been happening to me on the IS and on my run about civic and to the girlfriend on her mini one. What kind of weather causes this?
  22. NO! :D YES! :D I wouldn't say it is a big job at all. as long as the person doing it knows what they are doing it should be fine. The only problem is having the correct fittings at the right time other wise you will be back and forth to get fittings. slightly what went wrong with your turbo ? From the day we completed the turbo work the car seemed to be very slightly smokey, even before the ecu was fitted. I also noticed that there was some very slight play in the turbo shaft before we fitted it but nothing to worry about. As time went on the smoke got worse and about 2 weeks before we removed the turbo there was a distinctive whining noise when the turbo was spooling up. I contacted Jesse in the states who told me to check a few things first then once satisfied he told me send it back to him!! The other thing is that a couple of people have suggested that it was not a ball bearing turbo as it should have been (T28 BB). I also questioned Jesse about this and he said he would check it out for me but seems to keep "forgetting about it"
  23. NO! :D YES! :D I wouldn't say it is a big job at all. as long as the person doing it knows what they are doing it should be fine. The only problem is having the correct fittings at the right time other wise you will be back and forth to get fittings.
  24. I am waiting on my turbo returning from the states after getting it replaced and I also have a set of 315cc injectors that I am 99.999999% sure will fit the car so they will be going in too. I will be re-mapping the car to about 0.6bar until i get it on the rolling road. Once on there i will adjust the boost to give me a figure of about 280bhp. That is as far as I will run it on standard internals. It is not boost pressure that kills the engine it is the power output!! I have already done the return fuel line with uprated pump and regulator. This will need to be done as Daz says Adie or you simply won't have enough fuel for more boost. The other key factor is making sure the car is properly mapped to be as precise as possible. I will let you know the results when I get my own car back after mapping! That all depends on your turbo system and what spec of internals you have and also your wallet size. The sky is the limit
  25. option 4 is a safe bet as they are very subtle and will deffo compliment the car. option 3 is a bit more different than the norm but could still look very nice. don't bother with 1 or 2
