Basically if you ever go to the ground your in trouble, he demonstrated some holds and throws on me and apart from know how to fall I would have been in serious trouble he was also much bigger than myself, but the amount of kicks, punches, knees and elbows was enough to keep him at bay, his kicking and punching lacked power for someone stronger than me, (his technique was poor at these type of disciplines) We also Learn how to fight two on one and when you go for second dan you learn three on one, I think is very useful BJJ is great so is Wing and boxing , but boxers tend to have too much weight on their front leg which is ripe for sweeps if their footwork is poor. I have a lot of respect for all styles of fighting, and I'm very intrested in Escrima. . Never had a street fight since training, But it's about your mental strength and technique, which can make a huge difference. I think your experience would making you a good student to work with and this would compliment any BJJ type style you focused on, good luck with your research.

Two of my brothers have BMWs and I was looking at a A4 (to common and loses to much dough), MERC CLK (I still like the look of it, but customer service not good) so I had to move in a better direction. They are smooth and filled with gadgets, but it does drink fuel I'd say get an IS300 I wish I had , cos it's got more power and gadgets!

All the VAG group engines used to suffer from a coil pack issue which VAG tried to hide under the carpet, which back fire as loads of their cars required this coil pack. this is accordding to a mate of mine, he said the part is so much cheaper in germany so you could check that out, but I'm not sure if it throws up the same fault you talk about?!

I've got the N70 (I wanted something different from the Razor or W800i), video recorder is great so is the camera's zoom, has problems connecting to a Motorola E398 via blue tooth causes mine to (the E398) to switch off? .Mine also has problems connecting to my Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop via a belkin bluetooth dongle :duh: I'm on T-mobile so mine was a free upgrade, I'd say wait as there is always something with more functions around the corner.

IS200 SE AUTO 30.6kmiles on the clock car still under warranty Also on the odd occassion my car needs two or three attempts to start it, but it's normal fine after that, any ideas? Brakes sometimes squeak is it the discs or pad any idea on prices for these parts? Noisy passager side mirror when folding is this a bad sign? I've kerbed alloys now they are corroding any good refurbishment companies near Lexus in Woodford? Who's the best spanner man at Lexus in Woodford?

lOOK AT THE DISTORTION RATING AS 1% IS GOOD BUT THR ROCKOFRD MAYBE LOWER, EITHER WAY I'VE WOULD LISTEN TO BOTH WITH SOME OF THE TYPES OF TUNES YOU'D NORMALLY LISTEN TO AND WHICH IS MORE DURABLE!

It maybe down to the weight of all the electric seats, extra sound proofing, infact anything that adds weight will effect performance, gear box ratios may be different etc. Try these comparisons first, it may make more sense then !

Thing is Mike this area involves no product so is near to 100% profit - buisness costs, wages and so on.... I have a chance to lease a workshop and become affiliated with them, this will reduce set-up costs big time and i can use them as an established buisness to lease equipment...... by the way, thanks for your# i will phone you 'one to one' soon, but for now this topic on line could help more people than just me. ← You have the respect of all the Lexus people your knowledge is vast as is your experience, I say go alone, but if could be made redundent so you could get some sort of budget to back your new venture it would be even better.

I saw a IS200 s in a dealership near southend going cheap and there are plenty of nice one still about so all is not lost, maybe you could buy it off the insurance company and sell the decent parts on ebay whilst you look for a replacement, remember mate you and all your pasagers are still here!

I've not had mine a month yet mate and I can say it's nice to be driving something different from the BMW, Merc and Audi brigade :D :zee: . what is the spec mate ?(what mods are you looking at ?) to be honset with you I may only do very minor mods to mine just luv it standard form plus bit short on cash! Find a nice road and drive!

I've just Picked up a 52 plate IS200 and it's auto, my wfe only drives an auto and although she has an auto, i think i made the right choice. if you want speed then start modding, you never know there may not be very many moded autos out there. But it feels a little gutless compared to my 206 GTI, but that was a light weight compared to the IS200 (and not very reiable) :)

People listen up! I had a 306Dturbo one of the best cars those french boys ever done, but the VAG diesel is very quick so are the BMW and Mercs, but...........the Lexus will be a great car, one of the recent Autocar / Autoexpress articals test drove a new Toyota Avensis in Germany with the same diesel unit which will be found in the lexus and it battered a BMW320d scared a BMW driver with a BMW330d :o so you know it's going to be the Don :zee: I repect the BMW, but considering this is only their second generation IS200 etc I think they do a very respectable job :D

I hoep it looks better in the flesh and grows on me...... ← the Toyota Avensis will be using the diesel fitted into the the new IS diesel which was tested in one of the big car mags (Autocar ?) and was quick enough to worry BMW 320d and 330d so i think performance wise the petrol units will up the pace as the Standard IS's are a little heavy for real performance.

I belonged to the AA which came as part of the service with the 206 Gti I' about to trade against an IS200. my insurance was also with them (a real rip off) anyway I've heard some well suspect stories about them all, but green flag.

Would a toyota celica engine (189 bhp) fit in either the altezza or IS200
