I mean compared to the E90 M3, W204 C63 and B7 RS4 - I think the ISF has the nicest interior by far. At the risk of derailing this thread even more than I already have - how much did it cost you to import yours? Just trying to build up an idea of the costs involved (on top of the cost of the car) to figure out what I might be able to buy within my budget.

Imzy.........There are Youtube videos of Toyota models (Yaris and Rav 4) with touch screens that illustrate the method to gain access to the camera settings. One showed touching and holding the audio button on the screen whilst turning the head lights on/off 3 times and another also a menu button. I suggest you do a Youtube search on “disappearing guide lines rear view camera” which will allow you to do a re-calibrate. Hope this helps (most of the videos were in the USA)

Where did you get the zip download from? Every time I’ve tried to use the incar update I get an error and the dealer tells me I can’t update it. I didnt know there was a download location for manual updates

May seem like an obvious question, but is the car running at the correct factory tyre pressures? Dealership have a habit of over inflating tyres when a car is serviced, not sure why. The first thing I do after a service is to lower them to the correct pressure as it makes a huge difference.

Hi, New Member. New to me: ES300h (2020) F Sport. Very pleased with it thus far. Initially, slightly worried about the firmer ride with the sport trim. Funnily enough, I had a deposit on a new Alfa quad at the time (also would like a red or Green one) but backed out as they mis-quoted the numbers and I didn’t feel at the time i could justify the extra I had considered the BMW/merc at the time but then this one turned up and it was dream spec for me so jumped on it. Think I just fancy a change really, nothing against the car and although I’d love a LC, need something with a little practicality - small bugbear for this car is that the rear seats don’t fold on the F. And it’s bigger than you expect but as an ownership prospect (running costs aside 😁) it’s brilliant!

Most RCF owners made the conscious decision to not buy a BMW/Merc etc. Alfa however was on my shortlist too but didn’t want the back seats. I am tentatively thinking of selling current RCF and currently looking at alternatives. Has anyone considered or done similar? current shortlist is current M3/M4, previous gen but 2019 (facelift) onward c63 coupe (do like the estate though!) or the 2021 onward (facelift) Alfa Guilia Quadrifoglio…. suspect I’m better selling privately but they are a rare beast, particularly mine as a facelift ~ have genuinely not seen another on road since I purchased in 2021 (Lexus approved) so perhaps might take some time. Any advice, experience or suggestions appreciated. Possible you just ran the 12V down rather than anything wrong with it. Because all the 12V has to do is start the computer and then open the relays to the main hybrid battery, if its basically flat it may actually still manage to start the car. Had this a few times on my last 12V battery when it was, well working but it had basically no capacity left after 15 years so was very easy to run it flat if you left it on without the engine running for any period of time at all.

If Lexus had a better interior I would buy it immediately". I don't know why he meant with interiors but same thing he said about RCF I had before.

I had 285/30 on the back and 245 fronts , now 275/35 - 245/35 , these cars look better with beefier tires

Oh yeah, I have nothing against Cat S cars in of themselves; as long as the job's been done properly I don't see any issue. It's just that one in particular rubbed me the wrong way the more I thought about it, quite a few things just seemed "off" so I decided against it. But who knows, maybe someone got the bargain of the century there.

Has anyone gone for wider tyres on their ISF etc. stock seems very narrow so thinking of going 265 and 235 instead of 255 and 225.

Hi, I’ve noticed with increasing regularity that Android auto disconnecting when turning sharp left or right. It requires either an unplug back in to either the phone or console and comes immediately back. It did it three times on a recent 1 hour journey around country lanes but less so on major roads. I think this did it with my old phone and I have bought a quality cable and still happening. its going into the dealers next week to check for an software updates, but wondered if anyone else had had this. I am suspecting something loose round the back Any other thoughts or experiences ? thanks

I own a Cat S one , fixed it myself , and tbh , if the job is done properly , there is nothing wrong with a Cat car , i will spend saved money on mods and proper maintenance from being cheaper 😁 No guarantee that a non Cat car never had an accident in its life , but either way , importing one is always better as the ones over there are way better looked after than UK ones and there is no rust on them

Previous owners had 3 youngsters. I think a sugary drink spill was left in the flat section which has discoloured the black leather. The car had been standing unused for 6 months plus, I found an apple from the same time in the rear console box. I had a quote for a full seat restoration but it was outside my budget and at that level probably unnecessary. I have used some leather recolouring balm/dye and some conditioner which has improved things nicely. The car has only 86k mileage so seat leather is in pretty good shape throughout other than the main seat panels which obviously get dried in the sun, or hold any water if the roof is left open in a rain shower.
