The Things That People Come Out With

That is HILARIOUS!!!!

myth?? It works fine on mine. I find it very usefull when overtaking, as you get that extra oomph....although abviously, it does drink a little more juice so don't drive around with it depressed all the time, as your likely to burn out the injectors over time. It's only designed for short usage.

Oh come on....he's talking like hes strapped a turbo to the side of it and running it too rich ......not adding 2.5 bhp!!! The ONLY way this could even REMOTELY stand is that in pushing the volume button you turn the radio off, and so the car's not using so much power. And even then the difference you see would be completely and utterly immeasurable.

quality thread though :)

That's it I'll be stop/checking all toyota yaris. to ensure they've declaired the EXTRA 2.5BHP on their insurance.

However I will wait until they've parked up. I'd hate to think if i had to get into a high speed chase the little :tsktsk: would hit the volume button and leave me standing :driving:

a guy in my office is considering making some fake dyno graphs for this......he's well tempted

Also thought he'd show the graph for the petrol/diesel mix that adds more bhp :)

Got to

Then post them on the original site and see if they wish to buy them :whistling::whistling:

ive added this "i recently had to put my supercharged IS200 into the body shop for some warrenty work, and they lent me a Yaris TSport, now obviously this aint got nothing on my Lex, bt i did find that with the radio on, arial fully retracted and the wing mirrors folded in, the effect was comparable to the 0-40 mph range of a supercharged Lexus, and what was even better was that by adjusting the volume knob it would act like an adjuctable turbo pressure thingy.."

dont want members doing it too! going out to the petroltation and adding a mixture! :)

Mr Joe Bloggs you can understand doing stuff like this.....but people who frequent car forums really do amaze me sometimes!!

I once heard a story from a tuner of turbocharged cars.....young guy (tracksuit, classics, burberry cap) comes into his workshop with a 1.3 Corsa (massive body kit but std running gear).

He asked the tuner to put a dump valve on his car :)

Now, don't get me wrong - my mum for example would not know this (actually, I try and teach her so much about cars that she might, but that's another story), or some of the guys in my office might not know this sort of stuff.......but people who are into their cars!!!????
