Saw this on t'bay and thought there's a fine looking example and history reads caring owners.

Do i need two? not really.

Puzzled as number plate not recognised on DVLA

The car comes up on the MOT history site with a mileage of 33,980 rather than 140,000.  At the 2006 MOT it had done 101 miles, so presumably had a replacement speedo shortly before that.

The offside doors have been repainted because they don't match the front and rear wings - but that colour's very difficult to match, I understand.

The history sounds good, though.  Maybe you've got room for another one?

Its because I put a space in the number plate details for the MOT check, is why it said not found!

May be right about the colour difference. It can be difficult to tell depending on reflections of nearby things.

Looks like the cluster has an illumination issue to sort.

One Lexus is enough for me!

Funny, I looked at the other items the person has for sale and he has a Volvo (I've had the S40) and a Renault Safrane.

I had a Safrane briefly.  It was a diesel and although very comfortable inside, it did smell a bit of diesel and the previous owners Dog.

It went into limp mode on me with a suggested replacement gearbox cost of £1400.  Unserviceable, and seeing the word "serv" on the Instrument cluster I guess it needs some Servicing.  I do like the interior comfort level,  however.

It always amuses me when they say "owned by a doctor" Does that mean doctors extend their caring attitude to their cars?  Clearly not if you see our doctors car.

It's the same as 'Baby on Board'.  What's the significance of that?  The way I drive doesn't depend on my perception of who's in other vehicles (unless it was Donald Trump, perhaps).  Or maybe I need to be aware of flying nappies, sick etc.

Let's not forget "show dogs on board" eh? What's that all about?  Now if it said dynamite on board I may just drive differently!

ah yes as you say same old bollards. Just walk away. That's it. Walk away. Deep breath. That's better. There are great sellers out there. Not that difficult to spot as everything is so simple. Walk away.
