Hi all

The tips on my gs450h are looking a bit...well tired, so just wanted to know what you all have on yours, like stock or have you changed and improved yours

I cant find anything nice to put on but want to go a bit bigger and blingy

You might want to try wiping them over with either wheel cleaner or white-spirit first, (thanks to Rayaan for the tip)  that should remove most of the grime and deposits.

Then you can try using metal polish if needed. On my IS I think they're welded on so not easy to replace anyway.

I believe the Lexus oem ones are around £50 each so not cheap.

i did by dome replacement trims from eBay but they look more of a Matt aluminium finish. Some might like this but I preferred the original trims.

as a consequence I never even took them out the plastic packaging do they are in the garage.

As Bob mentioned - use wheel cleaner (any dedicated wheel cleaner will work), even better if its the acidic "hardcore" wonder wheels stuff. Once thats taken most of the grime off, you should be able to tell whether youre happy with it or not.

If not, go for the metal polish and wire wool method. Takes much longer which is why I always try the wheel cleaner method first.
