Hi everyone. Today's the day when I have to decide whether to scrap my 2000 LS400 blue lexus. I have had it for 9 years and it's been great.

It's due its MOT today but needs too much work on it now to warrant doing it. Its interior is pretty naff as the dog has bitten the doors 😞 And there is

a dent in the bonnet where one of the local red deer butted it. (It lived to tell the tale though)

I guess there comes a time when we have to be sensible and logical.  If I had space I would break a Lexus for parts which will pay back far more than a scrap yard.  But then you may just want it off your hands.  Sad to see one go though.

By strange coincidence I once purchased a 1997 LS400 from Norfolk which had also had it’s rear nearside door panel chewed by a dog, you’re drive way isn’t by any chance on a slope is it?

Yes I remember you. You came and collected it with your friend who was working on electricity not too far away. This is my replacement for the Celsior. Ive had it for 9 years and I'm really sad to see it go. Still drives well, would be easier if it didn't!  No idea what to get next....
