He had a 54 plate 430 then a newer one a 460. Will check when we see it tonight!

Checked! A LS 460 registration GX64VDO - not a registered number plate! Well it is not on the MOT check anyway!

They must use unregistered plates just for filming.

There is a tv series called Doc Martin. It is filmed in Port Issac in Cornwall and the main character, Martin Clunes, drives a LS 460.

I have re-ordered from carmats-uk.com and I am much more hopeful. They invited me to their premises in Mansfield where their designer made templates for front and rear carpet mats. Can't beat that. And if anyone else needs LS400 mats they now have the correct sizes.

One of the things I just have to do is get any car as close to stock as possible. Sometimes that involves sourcing parts that play no part in how the car operates but bug the **** out of me if they're missing. So I'm currently sourcing a Battery holder but I think I may be missing this too? Can anyone confirm? It's not present in the engine bay but appears to be correct for a '96/'97 LS.

It looks like the correct one to me, it just clips on in front of the Battery.
