Dvd Screen? Post Pic!

anyone have a kenwood or any pop-up style dvd/cd/mp3 screen in their center console. if you do please post pics, i'm thinking of buying it im' not sure how its gonna turn out. plz . thx.

It's a Pioneer AVH-P7500DVD btw, personally I'm thinking of getting an Alpine IVA-D300, comes out in a couple of months and has a touch screen where you can actually feel the buttons on aswell :zee:

Just too bad it blocks the airco completely like that

Maybe if you'd put it in the lower slot it would be easier to get to the airco

I have the Alpine TME M790 7" ( not fitted to the car yet), it fold out and it also able to swing to the left or right....

I have got the Kenwood-KVT 920DVD in mine, it looks really good, it has a better fitment compared to the one in the pics above, i also have my mini-disc player in the slot below..

Sorry i ain't got a pic for, but hope fully i'll get some this weekend for you.

Isn't it annoying that the screen blocks the airco?

I always have my temp set on auto so i hardley ever have to use it.

What I have seen before is somebody who put a 1din-radio in the place of the satnav (could've been here but I'm not sure), then you could take out the regular radio and put in an extra screen or something ;) Or some extra gauges :) Just thought of that myself right now :zee: Still wondering what to put in there :P Maybe euhm... let's see, a cd-changer and dvd-nav maybe?

So when changing the headunit, did you guys also have to change the rear speakers?

I removed my back speakers because of the sub's in the boot, there was too much bass and the port's were directly above the rear speakers which caused interferance. ;)

I was wondering where you got the adaptor plates from for changing the headunit. From the photos it looks like a pretty good match to the rest of the console.

I bought mine from a company called SQ+ in manchester it was about £35 and does look at home in the dash i can not remember the telephone number sorry.

I think Autoleads do them aswel in Halfords but not sure
