New Mobile Phone

I got a call from my network provider this morning, to remind me that my contract was up for renewal at the end of next week, and i chose a new phone. It's a nokia 7210.

see here for specs etc.

It's coming in blue/turquoise colour, as i couldn't stand the colour on the page!

So has anyone had one, or have any info on them?

Quite a sturdy phone. One of the first mainstream colour screen phones to come out. Bit old but will last you ages. :D

The 6100 is quite nice if you want a sinilar phone but with better placing of keys.

Generally a good phone, but has a habit of turning itself off on occasion whilst messaging though.

I recently upgraded to a Nokia 8910i (the titanium one).... seems to do the job...

Very good phone a 7210. Slightly older phone now, as Nokia then brought out the 7250 (basically a 7210 with a camera) and then the 7250i. Then the symbian phones (3650, 7650 etc.).

The 7210 is very sturdy and, so long as you can get on with the key layout, is very very good. I like the Nokia menus, especially the recent (perhaps 18months) colour ones. Always have done which is why I stick with Nokias!!

I have a 6100 at the moment......great phone. Tried a 6220 last week but didn't get on with it.

To answer your question......7210, very good phone, older model, and if you can get on with the key arrangement (many can) then it's great!!

7210 is an old phone now, should be able to get something better.

Don't sit on it when it;s in your rear pocket, or all sorts of weird problems will come... Like loose the display, phone will turn off etc..

NO nokia I've had has worked properly after 13 months

had a 7210 1 month before they officially were released dnt ask how and i wnt have to lie to u!!

was good for 6months then it went downhill, was shoppin in bullring week before christmas wen i had a phone call but screen was blank as if it was turned off so threw it down escalators never smashed still upstairs in my drawer.

got a 6600 at christmas sim free absolutely brilliant, short camcorder on it, full games available, use MP3's as ringtones,bluetooth,realone player for videos, 32MB memory card, etc

excellent phone

can show au on sunday how good it is if goin gaydon

wouldnt recommend 7210 though
