Is this can be fixed by body filler?

Glad to hear it is back Vlad as I am sure you missed it 🙂

Keep trying with the photos as I am sure there are some on here - me included - that would like to see the end result.

Got the car back this morning! The repairs seems good but it is raining and pretty dark outside to check the quality properly. I have 5 year warranty though.

The garage installed 33 new parts, that including some labels under the bonnet. But boy how happy i am to have her back!

Great news 👍

Hi @Linas.P, just saw your advice, thanks for taking time to write it. I contacted my insurance straight away who organised the hire car (Octavia) and repair shop. I had to pay my excess just before my car was delivered to me on Saturday. I never heard of a scheme you mentioned but in my case it is hard to prove it was not my fault, I do not have a dash cam recording to prove my innocence and other party most likely they are not guilty too.

Anyway, the car is fixed and back with me and excess is paid. Now no one knows how long it will take my insurance to sort out whose fault it was, it feels like they are not bothered to be honest. I should get my renewal from them within next few days as my insurance is due 1st week in January!

Repair is not too bad on a 1st check, I need sunny day, wash the car, dry it and then I can examine it properly.

Found couple bad points already - one of the plastic clip under the bonnet was missing so I replaced it myself. Front passenger alloy wheel has a slight black paint overspray, I guess it was badly covered/protected while the car had paint respray.

And 2 clips are broken that hold front wing cover/underlay to the wing and front bumper.

Glad to hear they were able to fix it, now it is just matter of waiting whenever insurance decides who's fault it was. As well, report all the issue you find with the repair, because by now you have paid for it anyway, regardless of who's fault it as and you premium will be affected, so at least get the job done right. And because they had to do it right first time around, this won't make it any worse in terms of your insurance.

Sad thing the insurance company which suppose to represent you and to whom you paying top money isn't bothered and that is usual.

Obviously getting dash cam is now tool late but I would consider it anyway. I had 3 crashes in span of 2 years (hopefully you won't), but in other hand I decided to fit dashcam right away, just because drivers in London are so bad and it was the case of when, not if.

What is worse - in all 3 cases other drivers insisted it was not their fault (well - the first one didn't even stop) and refused to even reason with me, without dashcam it would have been very difficult to prove.
