I honestly don't know, but consider this - even if you got a map that was as recent as yesterday, it'll still be running on operating system software that's over 16 years old because map updates are just that, not OS updates. Plus, being DVD-based you can't add in your own POIs, speed cam locations or any of the modern stuff we now take for granted. Why not just use Google Maps, Waze, or Sygic on your smartphone instead? You'll find it much, much better.

You might want to contact these guys to establish which generation of navigation system you've got. There a chance there is no more recent update than 2012, best case is probably 2018.

I wouldn't bother, the cost of a Lexus disc is more than the cost of a good satnav, and the operating system in the Lexus is rubbish. You can't even put in a full post code.

I’d be investigating if there are any after market CarPlay modules available which would fit/work.

The Sat Nav was one of the few disappointments on my car proving clunky and unreliable.  I use a 6 inch TomTom which is so much better and comes with regular free updates and speed camera warnings. I did make a frame to support it, because it is relatively heavy, which may explain why using the normal sucker type fixing caused it to fall off the windscreen of another car I had twice.
