Did i suddenly wake up in a parallel universe.... how can it be £735 for the 80 and 100k service????

Then on the other page i found this:

Big difference between £735 and £475!!

So what is going on? both come from lexus.co.uk website.

I am just had my 80k service today at my local dealer and it was £475, I ended up needing aircon done (£100 odd) then front and rear brakes. (just under £1500 all in today) and the car isnt even at 70k miles (apparently goes by age).

I have a very important question about 10 years / 100k miles service. Is there still any Lexus warranty after it? Or is it just waste of money doing that one as no more protection from Lexus and paying double comparing to independent garage for same job?
Relax warranty is 10y/100k so it seems to be pointless but tell me if I’m wrong.

You are wrong Sir.

Do a search on 10 year plus warranty.

If you have the last service just before 10-years / 100k you get another full year / 10k miles, so effectively Relax is up to 11-years /  110k.

Do you get your brake caliper pins greased when paying these high service prices?

Don't know but not had any issues with them to date - car is now 8 years old and 121k miles. Had new discs/pads on the front at 80k miles and rears are still originals.

I don't think they grease the caliper pins at service. That said, the calipers are covered under the extended warranty.

That's correct, they don't grease pins as part of a service.

Discs aren't covered under warranty though, which will corrode if you have stuck calliper issues - and long before Lexus would replace a calliper under warranty.

I suppose I had an element of sarcasm in my question as it seems that apart from the oil and filter change and sometimes, other fluids, all they seem to do is inspect things which makes the high cost of these services a nice money maker for the dealership!

Spot on, and most of the things they inspect are part of an MOT anyway, but this is the industry norm, nothing unique to Lexus.

Yes, I got an extra year, so effectively 11 years😀
