originated from Germany, so  I chance of any Lexus vehicles on the ship. Imagine waiting a year or so for delivery of your car and to told that your not getting  delivery of your car.

That follows the car transporter that caught fire last year off the Azores and sank.Again thought to be caused by a milk float catching fire.Along with numerous clips of spontaneously combusting Tesla's,are we seeing a trend here?

The cargo ship left the port of Bremerhaven in northern Germany at around 15:00 local time on Tuesday on course for Port Said in Egypt.

So no chance of any Lexus cars on board as the ship would be heading back to the Far East?

I wonder if we will get to point where taking your EV on Eurotunnel will be as much a NoNo as LPG seems to be.

Mate if mine who is recently retired fireman said EVs are a real b*stard to deal with when they catch fire.

3000 BMWubblewoos polluting the ocean floor then ......  well better than polluting the air we breathe !

Sadly EV pollution happens in manufacturing, so that is too late to take them out of their misery. The least polluting option would have been to drive them all to 500k miles as quickly as possible, but at 0 miles they are basically the most polluting they can be, so the worst time to set them on fire.
