ITC Compliance Limited: Vehicle enquiry/order documents

Can anyone tell me what this is all about please ??

I received an email from them (ITC Compliance Limited), without much content to it, asking me to follow a link.  I followed the link and it looks like it wants me to set-up an account.

Has anyone else had this?  What action(s) did you take?

Firstly one should never click/follow links from unsolicited emails, especially if one has no idea who it's from. Now whoever sent that email now knows the email address is valid.

Could all be quite innocent/legitimate but ....

I'm forever wary of unsolicited emails, especially " opening attachments "  . fraught with bad risk I'm afraid ...  don't do it !  stay safe !

You are quite correct in being cautions.

However I got some emails from ITC Compliance when enquiring about a car at Lexus Preston.

Cant remember if I set up an account. 

Give the dealer a call if you enquired about a car.

Just to let one and all know. The email and link were valid.  You setup an account and can view details relating to your vehicle .... finance / insurance, etc and whether you've taken any out or not.
