A good conversion on the LS, GS and RX costs around £1800-2200 so I guess about the same on the IS.

I have made a LPG conversion to my IS.

It very interresting here in Belgium, LPG cost 0.259€ for a liter and

Euro 98 petrol more then 1.1€ :o

The installation cost ± 2500€, it's Vialle LPI, the best choice, no power loose

and 1 liter more for 100km.

I have it for 1 year and more then 30000km.

So when are you actually likely to start saving money with these kits?

Think I read somewhere that these are chucking pollution out and they're looking to tax it much heavier which would negate the benefits - might have just made that up though :P

OT but did you ever get your alloys sorted Dunkie?

i had a quote in the week from Avon autogas, they quoted 1400 inc vat which sounded reasonable. its tempting with the way Petrol prices are going.

Thanks for the replys guys :D

Still toying with the idea as a filling station near to my home has just installed lpg on its forecourt.

Aido yeah I managed to source some brand new 17" and so bought some nice pilot sports and chucked them on. The car looks quite nice now mate (well I think so hehe).

I didn't know you could get install LPG on an IS. So it costs max £2000? Can you get a powershift grant for the installation? Yeah fuel prices are getting ridiculous now
