Is200 Revisions

Hi Guys!

Can anyone tell me what and when the revisions have been to the IS200 over the years.

Am looking to trade in my 2000 V IS200 for a newer model, but not sure what year/revision to go for, I know some of them have head airbags, arm rests etc.

i would say the limited edition (2003) one would be the best one, cos it has full leather, HID lights and armrest, on the manual.

Biggest change was in 2001 with added safety features and the Sat Nav moving to DVD from CD

Depends on how much money you have mate & it depends if you like the new spokey alloys.

The only real benefit since the mod's in 2001 are the HID's on the new IS200 which make driving much better at night, imho the lights at night on my IS are crap - even with bluevision bulbs (and this is probably the only thing I can complain about!)

HIDs dont come standard on the is200, do they? only on the is300 isn't it?

That's correct although they were fitted to the IS200LE
