30k Servicing Costs

Lexus is 200 due for 30k service at the end of the month so I rang round the 3 closest dealers to me and this is what I got: -

(Prices are all inc of everything)

Bolton - £198.16

Stockport - £195 plus a loc discount of 10% = £175.50

Manchester - originally £205.00 discounted down to £185.00 after hearing about stockport's discount

WTF is all this all about?

Same lexus dealerships should have same pricing structure or what?

different areas will dictate different prices, due to labour and land costs

the dealerships are all run by different companys as well

have you tried asking if they will pricematch the cheaper ones

if you have it done at stockport, tell the service manager (graham) that you know me (gordon with the supercharger) and he will look after you. he is a v nice man. :D

mines just been in for its 30K, and given where the dealers you are e-mailing are located, thought you might like to know leeds quoted me £145 and Sheffield £155.

Whereabouts in London are you based? I'm sure my 30K service only cost about £160 including VAT with no discount. £214 seems quite steep

If all dealers charged the same, they'd be accused of operating a cartel :duh:

My 30k was £71.60 inc vat... plus £15 for the oil i supplied so £86.60 in all :P

mabee cheaper to drive down
