60k Service

i had my 100k service last january and the cambelt was done then. as far as i am aware the belt change is at 100k but im sure there has been a debate over this before :unsure:

Found this it covers 20, 40 & 60k services.

Belts get a mention at 70k

The one being talked about is called the timing belt on lex page it can also called called the cam belt (same thing). Your post confirms 100K for the timing belt.

Get the belt done elsewhere, get it noted in the book, tell Lexus the belt's already been changed so is not required as part of the service. Should be the same as a 40K service, then.

Of course, you could always query it with Lexus GB or ask them why their website's service schedule's "out of date"... :whistling:

I've just been through this myself. One dealer said it needed doing at 60k, another (from the same group) said 100k. I phoned Lexus UK and the official answer is :

100k or 6 years. This is changed from 100k/10 years in the service book.
