how are you going about repalcing the big double sized unit as mine has jsut packed up??

is it hard work witht he wires etc?

my friend has that head unit and its realy good, as for ways of installing the head unit there are several options

1) autoleads make a head unit kit that replaces the sterio but looks cheap and tacky

2) get a altezza double din front plate ( i have one that im gonna adapt ) and use that

wat about the wiring for the steroe will it jsut plug and play to a new head unit?

or is there major work involveD?

if you have a basic S model then i believe there is an iso plug there, but if you have an SE or a Sport then you will need to do a lot of re-wiring due to the extra amp located next to the glove box.

You will need to run wires into the existing wires that run from the amp to the speakers

As Am says, look @ the RMS ratings ............. they are usually a lot lower !
