Thats a bit vague dude. "How green is the grass?"

Depends on your location and who you use? There was a thread on here before with someone asking the same but using a main dealer bodyshop. Do a search.

Well from lexus Tee-Side i got the following:

TRD Front Lip

TRD Side Skirts

TTE Rear Lip

All the above came to £420 including delivery, luckily i have family connctions with a bodyshop and had the whole lot resprayed in the mercedes obsidian schwartz (the same as my car) for £100.

It only took about 2 hours to fit the whole lot. an average rate of charge for a body shop is £28 per hour.

£500 seems a lot to me for less than 8 hours work

To be fair when I bought my kit it was when the old IS was still a sought after model and so bit were expensive. Bearing in mind the same kit from Lexus Leicester would have charged another £300 onto of! As for the spraying and fitting, you have paint, labour and other costs gas oven etc....

I was and still am chuffed with the work they have done :D

I got mine same time as yours because i got the contact info off you.

It has p***** me off that everyone is getting it now because it is cheap as chips, i remember like you, the parts were quite dear and not common. Now every coont and his mother is getting them because of the new model.

Makes me wanna get rid of the lexus. If i wanted something common i would have bought a ford. Oh well another 6mnths and new car ownership is looking imminent ;)

BTW £500 is dear.

I was gonna say that the bits he sells are meant to be made of blu-tac. His website is still up. Not allowed to trade, i think i would want more done than that.

Lol @ Crazylex!

Pip! Most fast Fords are great, cheap and fast! Take the Focus RS and new ST!! But the old skool motors are the best, RS Turbo which i used to have and the RS500 in A1 condition can still fetch £15000!!!

Sorry off topic, i guess £500 is a little steep just for fitting skirts, and bein from Lex themselves its not like there difficult to fit!! Shop around and don't be afraid to ask them to drop price, you will be surprised sometimes !!!

So what is the best price for TRD lip, TTE rear skirt and TRD skirts nowadays anyway??

I wouldnt say the Focus RS is cheap or the new ST (BTW Ford cannot keep up with the demand at the moment. I went to test drive one and the chap said if i placed an order now it would be met early 2007!!) If you compare it to the competition i guess they are cheap.

The escort cosworth which i had aint cheap nor cheap to maintain but yeah i know the models you are on about being a cheap way to get some decent power.

The bits you want you can probably pick up for the cost of a loaf of bread and a packet of fags.

Fecking ridiculous it is.
