Is200 Brake Lights

Hi chaps,

not sure if they all do this, but my lexus' brake lights work with no key in the ignition...

Just wondered if mine is abnormal, or one of the pack...

My GS300 works the same way, put your foot on the brake, lights come without igintion being switch on.

Another slight twist...

Saw a white Altezza in Bristol yesterday and he had his sidelights wired into his rear fogs but not his brake lights, was going to try and ask him but couldn't catch him (wasn't in my Lexie but a diesal Audi)

Any clues to how this is done coz it looked quite good.

I think all Altaezza have four taillights.I've looked into doing it on my new car when I have it,apparently not illegal to have four taillights

Yep - can be done. There are a few of us already who have a dual conversion with the fogs acting as brake lights aswell. Will be looking into converting thyem into a tri-way conversion for running lights too this year...... :D
