Need some advise on the following statement? does this make any sense what so ever

Thinking of a way to wire-up some RCA leads to the existing factory AMP? ther is a guide on the above link but i not sure is the USA wiring is differant to the UK's?

Whats the benefit of adding rca outputs to the factory amp? i was just looking at my factory wiring and comparing it to the is300 diagram then comparing it to the wires i have on my new HU. Basically im lost. Would it just be easier to rewire the speakers and add new amps for the speakers?

It means you can keep all the stock speakers and stereo but still connect a sub,
