intresting news was mentioned in the NASA confrence .........that a piece of debris hit the shuttle on take off....there bigwigs said it wouldnt harm the craft.

an indipendant proffesor has said , now that NASA are saying they lost all sensors on the left wing...........even if the bigwigs had said it would of caused damage.....what could they have done.......

was the shuttle therefore doomed from launch

It's terrible news. I was thinking that at least they had spent 16 days in space. I'm pleased that they had at least had that rather than the disaster happening at take off. It said on the news that 4 (I think it was 4) of them had never flow into space before. I know I'd love to go up there.

Wife just told me. Not again. :( I guess it doesn't take much going wrong to ruin your day when you're doing 12,500mph.

This time they have to fly another shuttle soon whatever - to go fetch the astronauts on the ISS. Better get it investigated quick.
