I thought they have lettering on them though, so you can see the HKS logo subtly on the fins

We are installing the Supra 6 speed manual transmission.

The problems that we are in the process of resolving are :

1) Linkage in the wrong place

2) Propshaft incorrect

The published information regarding this is wrong (surprise surprise), so we will go our own way here.

Certain information was given to me by the owner of the car in an effort to speed up the project and hopefully reduce costs. Unfortunately much of the information is wrong, which has delayed the project and cost the owner of the car more money. As I have mentioned previously, I would rather have no information than wrong information.

These are the facts - sorry if you don't like them Dude.

My view is that bringing the correct information into the public domain will be beneficial to anyone thinking of embarking on a similar project.

Lesson number 1 : Don't believe everything you read on a web site.

yeah, think the dissing was a bit harsh.

At the end of the day, if Matt had a problem with TDI I am sure he can deal with it direct with them and get it sorted out. I have heard he's a big guy!!!!

Seems to me that the only people with any negative comments are those with nothing to do with the project and jump to unfounded conclusions

Here's a picture of the underside of the engine and transmission in place. We have retained the standard transmission cross member and cunningly modifed the transmission mount.
