Hi. I know that this is compleatly unrelated to Lexus but it is Japanese. I'm a driving instructor who does around 35,000 miles of start stop, reversing, emergency stop, etc driving per year. For the past 2 years I have used a 2000 Nissan Micra 1400cc SE+ with CVT auto which has just done over 77,000 miles. It is serviced every 9,000 miles by a Nissan dealer. I was wondering if anyone has had bad experiences with this gearbox and how long you think it might last? The engine is running really well and all it has ever needed was an oxygen sensor. It drives really well for a small car and my pupils love it. Would love to teach in my Lex though
