Misted Up Headlights

I noticed that the brand new IS200 that I had for an extended test drive had misted up headlights after a bit of rain. Is that a case of TADTS or something I should look out for when I've got mine?

It's late on a Friday afternoon so it took me a while to figure TADTS, but yeah I think the handbook says it's normal as long as it clears up and you don't have little pools of water sloshing about in the lamp.

Yes they do, however, I just had both of my HID headlamp units changed on my IS300, for that very problem !

I don't know why, I just mentioned that they had condensation in them. The service Advisor, just said "Right we'll get them changed". Who am I to argue !

After the really heavy rain down south a couple of months ago, my nearside headlamp misted up. Booked it in for the local dealer to have a look, and by the time it went in, the condensation had actually disappeared. Even so, they replaced the whole headlamp unit under warranty - no questions asked!! :)

Funny this subject coming up necause I've been having the same problem so I booked it in to be looked at today at Lexus Belfast, so after work took a quick run up the road,

and same here no questions asked a new one on the way under warrenty.
